I put this on the side of my refrigerator. I have everything that I use all the time right next to my stove. So I’m not constantly opening cabinet doors. Several friends have asked about it and I’ve told them where to get it.

A regular roll of paper towel would not fit so I returned the item

Most aspects of this product are at least as expected but I immediately noticed that the hanging hooks were bent in all directions right out of the box (see photo). Since the selling price is around what a lot of sturdier shelving units and organizers go for, I expected better overall quality. Once I straightened the hooks with pliers and assembled it (using the instructions that were crumpled at the bottom of the box), it attached very securely to our refrigerator with the two strong magnets on the back of the top section. Be aware that rod assembly is a little confusing at first. You have to figure out (mostly on your own due to the lack of clarity in the instructions) that the top rod slides all the way through from one end to the other after placing the first o-ring in the groove on one end (until the o-ring rests on the outer edge of the metal opening), then the other o-ring goes onto the opposite end so that it rests on the outer edge of the other metal opening (this requires squeezing the two metal brackets/arms in towards each other, by the way). The lower rod is pretty self-explanatory…it just slides into the arms from the top (with the same rod grooves aligning with the thickness of the metal arms) and you pull it forward until it’s in place. The rest of the instructions are pretty clear (the four small screws secure the upper section to the lower section with the included screwdriver and you slide the rubber end caps onto the bottom two bars). It all functions pretty well overall but they could definitely use some quality improvements and a little more clarity in the instructions department…especially at their current asking price.

I love this storage for the side of my fridge! It gets my sponge and other items off the counter (where space is limited). I was definitely worried the magnetic part wouldn't be super strong, but it's perfect! I can take it off easily to clean but it also doesn't fall.

Out of the box, the shelf is quite heavy for how it looks. The steel is a thick and sturdy quality that you know is going to last. The coating feels resilient and will probably last a life time; It's already survived a few dings and scrapes while I was trying to attach the retaining bars to the shelf. The vented base plates for each shelf are a nice touch to also help dry your drinking cups and glasses after washing them, which is what I primarily use this for.But as I was trying to mount this shelf, I noticed that the backing board I wanted to use was too narrow for the mounting holes in the shelf; In other words, I wouldnt be able to mount the shelf using the pre-drilled holes in it. So, after seeing the shelf came with three huge rectangular magnets on the back, I decided to get a little creative and tried using a sheet of steel flashing for the magnets to attach to. After some measuring and careful marks, I screwed in the sheet flashing into the backing board to see if the shelf would hold onto to it.To my surprise, it worked! The magnets are incredibly strong and easily hold up the shelf. I even tried pulling down on the shelf just to test how strong the magnets are and I had to use at least half of my full strength to even get the shelf to start budging! As you can see from the pictures, it's not the prettiest or most aesthetic setup, but it got the job done!I've personally never seen magnets attached to a shelf before, but I am SO glad this shelf came with them. Overall, great shelf that'll easily last me for years to come.

This is a pretty big pick up for me. I was excited when I saw it and I saw the different things I could do with it. I put it in my garage next to my tool wall and I have a lot of things like batteries and stuff like that on it and I love what I can do with this particular wreck. The construction of it is really good. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. It has like a high-quality metal and a great finish to it.This is a pretty big pick up for me. Kind of flimsy. So-so. One of those “I bought it to solve a space problem†purchases but once I got it I didn’t feel much like mailing it back. Will make do with it.
