If you’re in NP school, this is so helpful in clinicals!! Definitely worth the purchase.

Very helpful to use during clinicals, keeps me organized as an NP student, will buy more when the pages run out.

These would be most useful for someone new to medicine, but even as a doctor with many years of experience, I liked using this notebook in my new hospitalist position. The sections for ROS (review of symptoms) and PE (physical exam) have a lot more “text suggestions†than an experienced doctor needs, but would be helpful for a newbie. The hospital I work in has a wretched EMR, and it’s a lot quicker to look up key bits of information (like the patient’s next of kin’s name & phone number, or allergies, or the H&H on admission, or which facility the patient came from) in this notebook than in the EMR. When I jot down the notes in pencil, I can usually squeeze in a day-by-day hospital course in whatever left-over space I can find. That makes dictating discharge summaries much easier. I don’t like how easily the pages can be torn out along the perforated edges, but if I am careful, I can prevent that from happening. Value for money is good.
