My fan stopped working when I was switching from summer to winter fan direction.I took a guess that the switch had failed and ordered this switch. Pretty easy to replace just be mindful of each wire location. Replace one wire at a time going from old to the new switch.I am back in business in just a few minutes. thanks. For my Hampton bay the wires were correctly color coded, just fyi….

It is well made but you have to have some kind of aptitude to transpose the wires for their connections. They are not color coded as far as being wide into your existing fan. You must understand how switches work with some kind of an electrical attitude. Wire for wire that's how we do it
