Bought this to personalize some ribbon for a bridesmaid proposal brunch! Used it on Siser heat transfer material from Michael’s. Easy to use, I like the size, straight forward. I don’t have anything to compare it to but it worked well for what I needed. I wanted something small & portable for small projects!

I had been thinking about buying a little heat presses back when I first bought my Circut joy and I just couldn't decide if I should buy a name brand one or one that wasn't. I had also talked myself out of a mini press because i had a big press, but than i decide it might be handy to have on anyway . Well after comparing this one with a Circut brand one and a few other brands , I decided to go with this one since it had really good reviews and it was slightly bigger than some of the other brands I found ... it also had features that I thought were better than the other ones I looked at. The temperature control and the fact that if it's not in use for awhile it will turn itself off for safety reasons.. but if you turn it back on to use it ,it heats back up pretty fast . After setting your temperature It will beep when it is ready to use ..which I love that it has that ! I found that this little press is so easy and convenient to use for small and medium sized projects and I don't have to bring my bigger press out. So far I haven't had any issues using this press and it did it's job perfectly. I recommend you following the instructions of this press and whatever brand of HTV you are using to get the results you are seeking. Overall I'm very pleased with this well made heat press and definitely recommend it to others that are looking for something of good quality!

I normally use a larger, clamshell heat press for any sort of crafting/pressing/design heat projects I do. Sometime, a large press just isn't practical. I've seen the mini presses for month, and have been on the fence about getting one. Sure, all the "crafting experts" talk about their great fortune with them, but I was still wondering if I truly would find it as useful for myself. After looking over several makes, models and styles, I finally decided on the HTVRONT Heat press. It was just a bit larger than the "well known, die-cut machine company" that almost everyone knows of. It was also priced better that said company's model, even when that company's model was on sale. Why pay more for smaller and similar if you have to?I was familiar with HTVRONT and their products. I've had a good history with their items, and I'll admit; finding this on a discount made me really decide it was time to seriously consider getting this press. It has all of the same features as the name brand and off brand models. It heats up 284 to 356 degrees Fahrenheit, which is perfect for my needs. It has a stand for when heated, and an auto shut-off feature. While larger than the name brand, it is still small, but using it wasn't a problem. Sure, even with my moderate sized hands, I wasn't able to hold it like a full sized iron, but it wasn't too cramped or uncomfortable for me to use. It was easily gripped and I was able to apply pressure for my "test project," on the included carrying bag. I will have to adjust and get used to the learning curve with this press, but I was very satisfied and happy with my results. Others seemed to be happy with the results as well.My only minor and not really meaningful issue with the press was that the auto shut-off feature has no true override to keep it on when you are still working with it. I'm used to having a separate button for that, but all I did was just press the power button, which shut the press off, then press till I was back at the heat temperature I was at before. My other problem, but this is more because of material and just time use, was that the heating plate did not allow for a "smooth flow" over the project I was heating. This again will be something I'll have to adjust to as I'm sure the size of the project, pressure I was exerting, and trying to hold the project down in place without burning myself, (and I'm positive anyone else wants to deal with.)Overall, I'm very pleased with this mini press and I see myself using it in various ways over the up coming days, weeks, months...dare I say years(?) to come.
