Your cart is empty.RELIABLE & ECONOMICAL SERIES “BD” BALANCERS The economical choice for balancing tools weighing up to 5 lbs(2.3kg). This is a rugged ABS plastic light duty tool suspension device. These balancers have a load capacity range of 0.5-lbs to 5-lbs. The balancer is hung from overhead structure by a swiveling hook and a tool is hooked to the balancer's cable end suspended over your workstation area. The balancer can be adjusted to make the tool seem near weightless when you pull the tool down to your task and, when the tool is not in use, you lift it up for storage or stand-by mode, thereby reducing repetitive motion injuries or issues. The balancer also protects the tool from damage as it is hanging up above out of the way of accidentally being knocked off the work surface onto the floor. These balancers do not have a ratchet lock but can be adjusted to allow the tool to be 'balanced' at a desired distance (within a range) without drifting up or down. The cable travel of these balancers is 6 feet.

Installed it in my garage to "suspend" EV charging cable around the car without. This was an economical, safe, convenient, and elegant way to solve a problem without breaking the bank. I was able to suspend the EV charging cable from overhead garage door suspension frame so that my wife can just reach up, pull it down, charge her car and reverse the process in the morning. Before, she had to walk behind her car and spend time and effort coiling and uncoiling dirty and unwieldly cable around the back of her car. In variably she would have run over the cable at some point.

It is OK for light tools since it is cheap, but i prefer the Tigon one which is more sturdy

This tool balancer is definitely a high quality product. Well worth the money! It didn't quite work for my application as the tension had to be set pretty high for my 4.5 lb iron. I had to use a fair amount of muscle to resist the pull back.

Worked great until it died. Quality is not where it needs to be. Used to hold an electric car charging cable out of the way. No more than twice a day use.
