I recently had a sprinkler zone not working; I traced it down to a particular valve and could tell the solenoid was still working fine, however, the valve wasn't opening. I attempted to clean it out to no avail; swapping the valve is a lot of work and it didn't appear to be leaking at the valve. It was an older style valve to which this fit and replaced it perfectly.Zone works great now! Honestly couldn't tell you what exactly was wrong with the old part but this new part made it work perfectly :)

I have 8 Hunter PGV valves installed throught my yard for my irrigation system -- all have jar top lids. The diaphragms get dried out and ether don't flex like they should, or a small, sharp pebble can sometimes tear them. Replacing the diaphragms is quite easy and these OEM diaphragms fit perfect in my valve bodies. I would (and have) bought more of these and highly recommend these Hunter OEM products.

It does not take much to damage these rubber seals and when they go, your irrigation system just keeps pushing water through. But the new one takes care it fast.
