My hunting properties have hard-packed gravel roads, so stakes do not work. This works perfectly, and even allows my decoys to move around a bit in a slight breeze. Easy to set up in the dark. This one is a winner.

Works as intended, but had hoped for a little more versatility - My fault, product is as described.

I had an older rubber feeding hen decoy that I broke the stand to. Ordered this one and it worked great. Birds at a good height. Wasn’t windy during my hunt, but I would imagine it would turn in the right breeze. Seems well made.

I hunt Texas where it's virtually impossible to bet a traditional turkey stake in the ground. This was on sale and seems to be the ticket. It is a very shiny fiberglass, so I did sand it dull and then put on some flat paint to match the ground.4/30/23 Update:Used this in Texas to take 2 birds and in New Jersey to take 1.Worked flawlessly. Stabil. Now, rocky ground is not a problem. Highly recommend!

I have bought several of these decoy holders. They work great when the ground you are hunting on is way too hard to drive a spike into. If the wind is blowing, the decoy will move on this apparatus. The second time that I used this decoy holder, it was dark when I was setting up, and I accidently set it up wrong but it still worked and still held the decoy. I didn't know until I went to pick it up that I had accidently turned it the wrong tripod way when setting it up.

If you hunt in an area with hard ground like clay, just buy it. Or you could carry a sledgehammer and rebar. I carry it deployed so I can drop and set when a gobbler is coming

Found these this year and love them. Nearly impossible to drive stakes in our rocky Texas ground and these solve the problem. Just weight them down with a rock or two and never drive another stake. Fantastic.

I wish I would have known how good these were going to work, I would have gotten more when they were on sale. These stands make it so I can move the decoy to change up my spread.
