This strap vest system is excellent in taking the load weight off your lower back and placing it on your shoulders.Pros: The construction and materials are good quality for the cost of the item.Shoulder straps are wide with strip of cushion.The pockets are adequate to hold a box of carts.The flaps with velcro on the pocket compartments have a small zipper pocket. Perfect for keys etc...Easy to equip on and off with no loss of cargo while retrieving birds bending over.Large game bag and easily accessible.Compact storage when not in use.Cons: Adjustment points are essentially useless unless your body is larger around your midsection.Pockets are sewn to belt strap and not adjustable along belt line.The unit is loose and meant to be, but it may slip side to side a bit while hiking.Overall this is a good piece of gear. I do wish it had a better adjustment points to keep it snug around the midsection.Best piece for the price.

This is a great vest. I can place squirrels in the back. But i just put them in a garbage bag instead so I don't have to wash out the vest every time. Pockets are good to keep calls in. And I got side pockets for water bottles.

I was looking for a high quality squirrel / bird vest and this is it. Totally waterproof game bag cordura outside material which is very durable. The only thing I would suggest doing on this vest would be to sew two rows of Shell Holders inside each big pocket. So your shells are stable and not lose. If it had those it would be perfect. I'm going to buy some shell holders and have them sewn inside myself and make it like it should have been made. That's the only thing they left out on this vest otherwise it is top notch. For 40 bucks you can't beat it it'll last you a lifetime. Camp Taylor.

My old vest was 40 years old and covered my back, which made for sweat in warm weather. I love the way this sits low on the back and keeps you back cool. High quality throughout. Very happy with it.

Very affordable hunting vest. Fits well and is functional. I use this for small game and upland game hunting. I do wish the color was darker.

Picked this up as I didn't want to wear a fanny pack to hold shotgun shells when hunting small game (I'm a big boy, would need a sizable fanny strap).The pockets seem to be water resistant (if you get submerged it'll come in through the pocket flaps, but it probably won't leak through the seams) and the straps have a rubberized coating underneath to keep heavy steel shot in your front pockets from dragging the vest forward.I didn't realize it initially, but it has a very large, backpack size back pocket which could allow you to keep a few duck or what ever else supplies you'd need to bring along. I use this vest in addition to a duck camo backpack to go small game hunting for squirrel, rabbit and the occassional turkey.It's a great addition to my gear, especially when hunting in water with waders up to waist deep.

Nice adjustable hunting vest. Great fit. Nice and lightweight. Nice easy to access chest pockets and other pouches. Made well from durable fabric. Good value.
