this pruning saw is so srahe it cuts through branches like they are paper. I am really enjoying my newest garden tool addition. It is also easy open and close, with the safety locking mechanism release tab. Good quality, lightweight and durable!

The saw cuts much better than those found in Harbor Freight. It is well worth the manageable added cost.

I like that it can't accidentally open - a good safety feature. I did a test run with a branch on my PaloVerde tree. It worked great without too much effort.

Worked great for trimming palm tree palms. Not sure how durable it will be over time as it feels a little weak in hinge but so far so good.

I was very pleased with this tool. Took it into the woods with me last time we went camping, and ended up cutting some 8" diameter deadwood for a fire. I was walking around with it in my back pocket for a while and forgot it was there until I sat down... With the teethe shaped to only cut on the pull, it made it easier to use as it had no binding up trying to push the blade in while cutting the log. The blade locking mechanism seems very sturdy.There were only two things I wasn't thrilled about with this product. One was the wobble of the blade when closing it, as I had to guide it into the slot of the handle. The second was the positioning of the hole in the back of the handle (intended for some sort of string for carrying or storage). When closed, the teeth of the blade stick halfway into that hole, which could (and VERY likely would) cut the string you were using to carry this on the outside of a pack. Wouldn't want to lose the tool along the trail like that.Overall, I love this saw.

Out of the box this saw is so sharp its cuts wood like butter, how long this lasts is the question. Because the teeth are so closer and small sharpening the saw is going to be difficult. But for the price its acceptable.
