I used this on a husky hitch and found them to be most useful, although a little different than original equipment they were easily replaced especially if one knows what and how to use a cold chisel. Before I purchased, I read a few reviews and discovered that some had to rig or add hose clamps to make them hold Tite, don't know if they were using them on some other brand of hitch or not but found no need to do so. remember when removing the old pins to do so gently and evenly from both sides and don't expect to remove them in one Wack. A pair of needle nose pliers goes a long way in helping to hold the replacement pins when reinstalling them

I ordered this kit to replace one that I broke on my Haulmaster weight distribution hitch (10,000 lb.) After confirming that the manufacturer does not have an equivalent part, I found thus and it looks exactly the same as the original.After receiving the part, the plate and pin (that holds the distribution bar in the hitch) are identical to the original. The rivet that comes with this kit, however was too small in diameter for the hole. I was able to use a short self-tapping screw to secure this to the hitch and it seems to hold well.The metal plate is thicker than the original so I expect it should hold up better-and hopefully I won't break this one. The downside is that it is very difficult to pry back to release the bar. Nothing a flat head screwdriver won't fix, but worth noting.Hopefully this helps anyone considering this for their Harbor Freight Haulmaster setup. Mine broke after only one year, so I expect others will need to make this same repair.

After 11 years it was time to change my original clips. Easy to change, chisel the heads of the retaining plugs. Use a hole punch to pop out the remainder of the plug. Insert the top pin in the clip, place in position, tap the new plug in with a hammer. Be careful not to over pund it the head will come off. (had to order a second pair lol
