I cut a significant amount of firewood yearly for my father who heats exclusively with wood. I also cut a bit for other family members for fireplaces, firepits, etc. I just love doing it. I don't have a lot of equipment, but I do have a couple of Stihls and Husqvarnas, Echo and misc other saws. I always use these Husqvarna chains on my Huskys and I've always been a big fan. I thought I'd give these "X" chains a shot. Honestly, I don't know that they're a whole lot better than the old ones - is it just a marketing ploy? I dunno. I do know, however, that these are very sharp and hold a sticky edge for many, many cuts through hard oak, hickory, locust and hedgeapple. I highly recommend these chains. I usually buy a package of 3 every year (for my bigger husky) but I only used one this year and I've only had to sharpen that one once. I'm very pleased with the performance. At this rate, I may never have to buy another chain for that saw. (I'm 62 so that's not that big a stretch, but you get the point) =D

Very sharp. Cut much better than safety chain that comes with the chainsaw. Can run a long time before need sharpening.
