After installing in my Echo chainsaw..... when my original chain jumped off the bar and was slightly damaged... and this chain cuts better than the original chain even when it was new. The original chain had been sharpened a few times and just recently but this new one cuts so much better it was a joy to use. May buy another as a spare because for the price.... it is worth it!

Unlike 25 years ago when Oregon chains were made in the USA, this one is made in Canada. All packaging and documentation is exactly the same if you bought out of a local hardware store. Sure this is not a top of line chain, but it fits my needs perfectly on a 25 year old Poulan Pro 295 with a 20†bar. They are easy to sharpen, but getting a good consistent edge on each cutter will take a lot off the depth gauge on each sharpening so 2 to 3 sharpenings have by my experience before tossing the chain for a new one.

Have used oregon chains on my 14 and 16 inch saws and used maybe two chains per season. My new 20 inch will use the chain up after felling a tree and making a few more cuts. This is the second chain that has done this. I may have to switch it to a shorter bar or it will be cheaper to just buy firewood.
