We have a wood stove and I have to cut shorter logs for the stove so I do a lot of chainsaw work. To me, Oregon chains are a very good value. Cut well, low kickback and durable Re: The easy to install category. That depends on the saw. The old style two bolt installations are a piece of cake but so many of the new saws use those dang tool -less tension devices and some of those are a horror show to install the chain on and keep it properly tensioned, no matter what brand of chain used.

This double pack of chains = very affordable for 16" Poulan 2150 saw. Fit easy and = good replacement for "Oregon" brand chain I pulled off (it's about 5 years old with fair amount use). New chain cuts fast. Stretched a little at first = normal & easy adjustment. Kept old chain for cutting around roots and debris after ice storm ( from last winter ).

This is a great product at an incredible price. These chains stay sharp and go through some of the toughest woods. They last a long time with regular maintenance, I will usually run my sharpening file lightly across the blades during every gas fill up.

These chains are sharp and chew through everything. I use them on my makita 36v chainsaw and couldn't be happier.

These chains are a genuine Oregon product and very high quality. It was not too hard to fit on my chainsaw.I recommend these Oregon chains to anyone who has a blunt chainsaw and needs to replace the old chain - just make sure you check your chainsaw specs and you buy exactly the right size and type of chain that fits your chainsaw model. And you do need to know what you're doing when fitting the chain to ensure that your chainsaw runs safe (If you're even using a chainsaw I assume you know what you're doing).
