Wasted my time trying to clean carburetor, this was best and easiest fix, plus new air filter and new spark plug . Feel like a champion, I fixed my lawn mower, runs like new. Thanks. Now using ethanol free gasoline..,,,. Used to buy new mower around thanksgiving and didn’t use it in winter then spring came around I would have to return new mower to Lowe’s, think the greenie gas was the culprit!

We needed this part for our lawnmower. It was easy to install. We has issues with the lawnmower not starting and had to pull the starter cord multiple times to try to start it. Now it starts with one pull. Works great!

Bought this to fix a Troy Bilt Lowes ~2017 model push mower with the Honda GCV160LA0 motor when the original carb was done. Easy install, everything fits without tolerance issues making it a great direct replacement to the OEM carb. The included fuel filter, air filter, spark plug was nice and the fuel line was longer than what was stock, which is great, but you may need to trim it down so it doesn't kink from being too long. No problems otherwise. Needed to let the filter saturate and wait a minute to allow gas to get down to the carb before starting, but a couple pulls and it fired right up. The first fire ran for a few seconds before it sputtered out. Gave it a minute to breathe and fired it up again. Mowed the lawn. Excellent deal!

I purchased this carburetor as my the original was leaking cause it needed a gasket. The cost of a gasket set was almost as much as buy this one already done. It works well and does what is suppose to do. I gave it a 4 star rating for 2 reasons. The main reason was it leaked gas, which was I original reason for replacing the old one. While the reason for leaking gas was different then old gaskets, none the less it leaked and flooded. I had to remove it several times to rule out the gaskets. Since it was flooding, I determined it was the float sticking. Had to remove the bowl to free the flood. Now it works perfectly. The 2nd reason was that it came with no diagram for the gaskets. While I know where they go, some may not. The reason I suggest giving a diagram would be there were 2 extra gaskets in the kit. If a diagram was furnished, it would show what gasket goes with what model mower.

I was gifted a Craftsman mower with the Honda GCV 160 motor that had set for a couple of years. She had spark, but nothing else, but responded to direct blasts of starter fluid, indicating a fuel delivery issue.Using the items in this kit (except the fuel filter), I had her running with the first pull in about 15 minutes.Be advised, you will make this job much easier if you purchase a couple of threaded rods (m6 x 1), and as you take out each bolt, replace it with the rod; in this fashion you can take apart the assembly of parts in a controlled fashion, then replace them easily.Well worth the money, the machining was well done and the dimensions are correct.

This carburetor bolted right on my honda gv160 with automatic choke. I was thrilled that it actually started on first pull with no adjustments. Goodbye to motor surging and stalling. You won't regret getting this carb. WOW.

I was about to throw my ~3 year old mower out and buy a new one since it would not start, no matter what I tried. But my neighbor recommended that I try a new carburetor first. With the low price of this kit, I figured why the heck not? I replaced everything with the parts that this kit supplied, and the thing started right up and ran like new. This took maybe 10 minutes. Super happy and it saved me a bunch of cash.

Purchased this kit primarily for the carburetor. Carburetor fit but had the following issues straight out of the box:-Fuel leaks from the carburetor bowl. The seal between the carburetor body and the bowl has either failed or been improperly installed. I attempted to tighten the bolt that presses the bowl onto the carburetor body and that did not fix the problem. In less than two minutes of use I had a puddle of fuel on the deck of my mower.-Once I got the new carburetor installed, I found that the engine would not start without the assistance of starting fluid. I did not have this issue prior to installing the new carburetor.Additionally, the included fuel filter is very cheap plastic, and one of the barb ends snapped of when I was installing the fuel line hose on it.I'm requesting a refund with the seller and will upgrade to 2 stars if it is approved, but I would advise staying away from this kit.
