These rods are well worth the extra money and 2nd set i have purchased. Cheaper brands I have used do not have the strength or appropriate tension to safely hold curtains in place, often bending, then unusable. The hardware is easy to adjust with Philips screwdriver, material used is strong and tension excellent for my 22" window covering. Highly recommend!

I really like these - fairly easy to use and feel nice and secure. But one came with a flaw (washer for screw wedged under ledge). I did not have time to return and replace, so I thought I'd mention it here. I know - it is ALWAYS a good idea to check the hardware.

I love how easy it is to install these. I change out sheers and draperies every so often and by using these I’m not putting holes in the drywall or woodwork. I also like the fact that by using these to mount my sheets inside the windows frame you get to see the woodwork. They are very sturdy for lighter drapes or sheets and you can adjust the size to fit your space.

Some tension rods are flimsy and don't have enough tension, but this is not one of those rods. The one I bought at Walmart just fell apart immediately, but this one is very sturdy. The spring is strong and I actually like how it's not a traditional twisting tension rod. It seems like it would be more reliable the way you have to set the screw first. You just need a Phillips screwdriver to set it up.

These spring rods work as described, but are a little awkward to install. You will need a phillips head screw driver and if at all like me - some patience. But good value for the money and I would recommend them.

Bought these to hang shorter curtains across a very large angled window, inside the frame so I didn't have to drill any holes in the wall. They fit into place nicely. Having a screw to lock the length in place works pretty well.They're certainly not for hanging clothes on. It's weird that I came across so many reviews like that. They don't sag at all with the curtains I bought and the price seemed pretty reasonable.
