- Roll out the rod,unscrew the inner rotating rod to required length in this direction
- Rod length should be longer than distance between walls
- Tilt the whole pole 30 degrees between the two sides of the wall, so that the pole is parallel to the floor, the pole will be probing between the two sides of the wall by the spring, and the installation is complete

My daughter recently moved into an apartment that didn't want you to put up curtains & preferred you just use the shades fir privacy, these curtain rods worked perfectly and can handle somewhat heavier curtains! Easy to use & you can take them to your next apartment or home!

Purchased this 2 pack extended curtain rods for large windows and they totally fit the bill! They were easy to install, and able to use curtains with standard rod pockets. Able to tension without an issue. We like that we didn't need to screw in any hardware to the window surround as with other curtain rods. We've had them up for over 6 months and have not had them slip or need to readjust even with change of season/indoor temp/humidity changes. Have not had any issues with finish of the rod itself. Came packaged well.
