Just what I needed Small tension rods for my hen house

I made a small curtain topper to fit into a window which is set into a back entry door in my kitchen. The door is insulated and made of steel so I did not want to drill holes into it for curtain rod brackets. These small curtain rods fit perfectly within the span of the frame of the window because they are of a small circumference. Because the frame around the window is less than an inch deep. The joint where the rod slides together is a little weak. If it’s too snug in the space, it will bow a bit. I don’t know that it would be a good choice for a place where you would need to open & close your curtain regularly or where it would be handled a lot or carry much weight but, as long as you are using it for decorative purposes, it works fine.I only needed to use one of the set of 2. I will store the other one for later. It was a fairly inexpensive item and worked well for my intended use.

Curtain rods, curtain rods, curtain rods, why did I buy such small ones, what does one do with such things. They either twist and work or they dont, you either measured right for the right size or didn't. Well let your imagination run wild.I'm tired of looking at this one shelf, with this one set of binders and folders and books, that due to their floppy nature, lean all over everything else next to it and makes it harder to grab stuff without using both hands. A couple of tensions rods will take care of that falling all over the place look and straighten it right up.With a 6 foot white narrow book case, that now has turned into more of a storage of random bits that aren't often accessed but necessary (think of it as a drawer but with shelves). Using a noren or Japanese doorway curtains, items are easy access and easy on the eyes. Tension rod, noren, good to go. There's so many different noren prints to choose from. (I have a puppy and kitty on mine. I digress). On a lower book case I used a tension rod and draped the noren as it's half the heigth.Next project is the smallish printer stand that is in front of the window. The lower shelf has chemicals that get dried out next to the window and I want to keep the curtains open. Tension rod, small cut to size fabric (of my choice) problem fixed.Don't let tension turn you away, sometimes we need a little bit of tension to make things work, or at least look nicer.Have at it.

I tried to hang curtains with these to give a little privacy to a small window but it didn’t work out. I couldn’t get them to stay in place. I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong or if the curtains were too heavy for the rod but I couldn’t use them as intended and will have to save them for later.

I've been having a hard time finding a 12 inch tension rod for a very specific area of my closet. It had to be *exactly* 12 inches and this was perfect. It wedged in nicely and feels secure. It's very skinny, maybe 1/2 inch in diameter, so don't expect it to hold something very heavy. The package is very vague about weight capacity, saying the load weight "varies depending on the size, length, and installation conditions." I think it feels particularly sturdy for me though because I have it at it's minimum length, so it essentially has another rod inside it. If I were to extend it at all, I would only feel comfortable hanging something like sheer curtains on it.

Size: 12-20inch-2Pcs. Tension rod is working VERY well for the items that I have hanging from it inside of a cabinet. It feels like it will stay put when I gently tug on it, though I do wish that the rod's cap ends that butt up against the interior cabinet walls were a bit more "siliconey" and less hard plastic feeling as I believe they'd add more and better protection to the cabinet walls (or inner window frames if that's how you're using these rods). The white is a true appliance-type white, and the inner springs seem like they're durable. I would order these again as they're super simple to install, inexpensive, and are doing the job that I want them to do well.

Not much to them, but they work. I just needed to small rods for a space in my pantry. I didn’t need anything fancy, but something to hold up a curtain which would pretty much always be closed. These worked fine. Pretty simple and cheap. Exactly what I needed

We got these to put up door curtains in the bathroom and they work perfectly. Great value for the price. The tension holds well and seems like it will be sturdy and stay that way over time. They were easy to put up. Exactly what we needed.
