Im very pleased. It fits as described from the size chart. 6 ft tall, average build 195 lb the XL fits well with the liner in somewhat snug. Liner out it has some wiggle room. I prefer room for layers. Protective pads feel about the same as any other jacket I have, no complaints. Ive been down on pavement in HWK gear and everything protected me as it should. The pants I had took a hard hit on the knee and had to be replaced, the jacket was without damage as was I, lol. After that incident Im pretty sold on HWK gear. Water resistance is average at this price point. I use silicone tent spray for upkeep on water resistance. It is warm and blocks wind. Could be hot in summer but its a trade off. I try to keep moving and get the jacket off if Im going to be sitting long.

My first jacket of this type.I wanted a comfortable, somewhat warmer, protective jacket for riding my Super Glide.Mainly for mid to cooler temps (50's to 80's) and so far this HWK jacket is doing a great job.The first time I wore it to test it out the weather was in high 70's and I left the liner in. Big mistake because after 15 minutes of riding I was dripping sweat. Wow is this thing warm. Took the liner out, opened the vents and cooled it right off but was comfortable.I'm usually an extra large at 5'11 195 (44-45 inch chest, broad shoulders) and it fits good. Long in the arms but to be expected.I really like the adjustable waist and arms.Armor isnt super thick I forget it is there when riding.A bit tight in the neck area but that is the design. Seals out air. Gets better with every ride.Reflective designs are very visible when light shines on them.I was very happy with the quality for the price paid.Looking forward to trying it out in the cooler weather with the liner in.For the money you won't be disappointed.

Over all I like the coat. Its warm and fairly comfortable. I live in ohio and its about 50-60 in the morning. I ride 20 min to work and have not been even slightly cold on my way in. its been 80 out on the way home and taking the liner out and opening the vents is pretty good as long as you dont have to stop for any amount of time. I got the black on so you kind of bake in the sun.Things I dont like. Zippers! all of them catch the fabric when you zip it up. pockets, front, liner all of them. Even the back one that zips on to the pants which i also own does not line up properly and will not zip at all.Pockets, There is a cell phone pocket but its built into the liner. take the liner out loose your pocket. side pockets are just big enough to squeeze a standard pixel phone into but thats about it.

Unboxing experience was excellent. Well packaged and armor already installed. The liner is super warm and has pockets and sleeves have two high quality elastic/button combination to keep the liner from moving around.Once you take the thermal liner off, the inner of the jacket has a great pocket one the left inside lapel, in addition to the front side hand pockets. There is a lower back hanging zipper for another pad attachment (I suppose ?) and of course great arm and waits adrusjments. For me, a usual Large Tall size, I find the XL fitting just right with the sleeves a hair too short but that’s me.Finishing with great stitching and reflective well placed trim, this jacket is comfortable, great looking and safe. Oh, and you can open the front vents plus the upper back vent for a great Florida ride. Fantastic price. Highly recommend.

I went back and forth on which style I wanted, and am glad I went with the all black Scorpion. I am a 5’10†195 lb male. Medium jackets typically are snug, large are just right. And since riding sometimes involves wearing layers, I got the X-Large. My chest measures at just over 42â€, so the 44†on the next up is pretty accurate. It fits great! Jury will be out on how long carious parts hold up, but so far for the price it seems great!

The adjustments worked to tighten up the XL that I bought per the recommendation on the product description. A large would have worked for me (5'10" 180#) but I'm happy with the XL as the jacket had enough straps to tighten it up so as not to flap in the wind and now I could wear a hoody under it in inclement weather. The liner is thin, not as thick as my worn out Joe Rocket, not as well built as the old Rocket but will surely do the job for about a third the price. I'm not sure how much an Aerostich cost!

I purchased for riding to work, and home in dirty clothes. Its been washed frequently. This was 2 years ago. I cannot believe this was 60 dollars! The pants were 60 dollars also.. I have more expensive jackets, pants. This is of simular quality. Perfect for all weather to 45f degrees. "With a mid layer". Or a skid on the road.. Easy zip out liner for hot weather.. this stuff has held up.. I'll buy again. Thanks

Okay so first off, this jacket is better than i expected it to be. Has a removable liner for chilly weather. (Liner has interior pocket for phone and another for whatever you may need) and still has interior pockets without liner. Comfortable fitment. Vents work nicely without liner on warmer days. Havent tested waterproof but feels more 'water resistant' than 'waterproof' also some tent spray would probably help this. I usually use such products on cheaper jackets and pants for work anyways and it helps. Overall satisfied. I have a $150 brand name jacket that doesnt feel as protective as this one does. So take that as you will

Fits well. The vents do really work well. Construction is good. Lots of pocket space. The neck strap is nice to keep out wind. The price is amazing. Told my riding buddy about it. Definately a good buy.
