Iv used this knockout easily 200+ times over 6 years of doing new construction jobs and this has by far been my favorite knockout set used, unfortunately after 6 years of knocking out 3/5 inch holes it has officially broke, the hydrolic line on it is now leaking anytime I pump it up(the tool is fine but the line needs replaced hence why 5 stars is more than warranted) I have not been anywhere close to easy on this tool but it’s definitely worth the money, iv even bought some for other people on jobs and they all agree with me

So I love this product. Use the heck out of it. I have used the 4" all the way down the the 1 inch. Works great. I used the heck out of the 2" one and it's still holding strong. I make sure to oil my cutters and stuff. Longevity of a tools that costs thousand dollars less then a big name hold punch. I have a small Dottie kit, cost more and has less sizes and it's a manual one. No hydraulic. My only bitch is the case for this set up is pretty weak. The latches are terrible. I used some Velcro on the handle to make sure it doesn't come apart.

On first use, while attempting the punch a second hole (1st hole was ok), the hydraulic pump plunger fell out leaking hydraulic fluid out. Could not be reinserted. This is a design defect that allows the handle to open to the point the plunger falls out. There should be a hard stop block to prevent this.

The tool works great! Punched holes through .080†steel easy, But the plastic box it comes in has the weakest latches. One latch was already tearing away when i got it in the mail. This tool is way too heavy for that kind of case.

I’m reading all of these negative reviews and they’re probably coming from people who have no idea how to use a hydraulic hole punch. For the money this is great however just be careful when you put in the threaded rod you don’t want to do it too far because if you do it will compress on itself And it won’t work I found that the hard way. But overall not bad at all

Works great. You have to have a ½" or â…" hole to start with but it easily pops a hole of any size quickly and easily.
