This kit is assembled in the USA by Beaver Island Parts Company.
An o-ring boss seal is a technique for joining two fluid-carrying pipes, hoses, or tubing. In an o-ring boss (abbreviated ORB) system, a male-threaded part is inserted into a female-threaded part, providing a mechanical seal. The female port has a straight thread and a machined surface to provide a smooth, flat, accurately located surface (minimum spotface), along with a chamfer where the O-ring seats. The seal is created when the O-ring is compressed into the chamfer when mating the male and female connection providing a leak-tight seal.
This system is used frequently in hydraulics, although it has been applied to other systems including compressed air systems and vacuum pumps.

Both of these kits are great quality and offer exactly what sizes I need that the generic oring kits don’t offer.

At a distance, the product seems ok. So far, none of the ones I've installed leak.I was mostly interested in the language of the packaging. It states this was "Assembled in the USA".I reached out to the company for clarification because "Assembled" is different than "Made In".Despite my call and email, they never replied. If this product was actually made overseas, this is misleading advertising and overpriced.
