Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings

  • Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
  • Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

I also ended up here like other reviewers from the YouTube guide to fix the cap on a Zulu Water bottle. I bought the 15mmx20mmx2.5mm size, which although a little tight does fit. However, the fix only lasted 6 days before it broke. Maybe a different size or material would work better, but I can't recommend them for this.Still rating 5 stars, as it is not the intended use for these o rings and they seem well made for their actual application.
