Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings
- Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
- Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

These turned out to be the wrong size for what I was doing, but they are still perfectly good O-rings.

It's always a risk, going with an off-the-shelf product instead of the manufacturer's part. In this case, it was not easy for me to ascertain whether the advertised Kohler o-ring on Amazon was the right one. At $7.99 for a single O ring, I decided to take a chance on these uxcell rings, at 10 for $7.03. If they fit, I am fixed for the life of my kitchen. So I looked at the drain, saw it was Kohler, and took a chance by ordering the above product for $21 plus tax. Ouch. And of course after 1.5 years of use, the o-ring stretched and failed. Few things in life are more frustrating than to fill a sink with hot water, put soap and a bunch of dishes in it to soak, come back 15 minutes later and find the water gone!Anyway, now that I have put the uxcell O-ring in, the basket sits properly and the sink holds water easily. I also note that I went to the hardware store (Ace Hardware) and they had a nice assortment of O Rings, and did not purchase one because I though it looked too small. In retrospect, I believe it would have worked also, but in that case, I would have gotten 2 for $3.50, or 1.75 per o-ring, compared to the UXCELL rings at $0.70 per. Kind of a case of 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of another. Anyway, these work, and I am happy with the purchase, and YOU benefit because now you have the exact measurements in the description of this product.

The o-rings received are neither made to the advertised specifications nor made to industry standards. The advertised specifications show that the o-rings have a 2 mm cross section (which is an industry standard for metric 0-rings). The o-rings received have a 1.5 mm to 1.6 mm cross section. The received o-rings fail to properly seal a space that requires a 40 mm ID X 2 mm width o-ring. The Chinese maker did not use enough nitrile rubber to produce properly sized o-rings.

I purchased these to replace the existing ring burr O-ring on my Baratza encore ESP. They are slightly thicker than the OEM O-ring. This seems to allow the ring burr to fit a bit more snug which intern appears to have improved. Grind quality.

Can't say if it will fit yours, but these did the trick for me to fix leaky tubs, and saved having to change the stoppers out.

I got these to replace worn out o-rings on my fishing rod tubes. They appear to be just the ticket for my application so far. If I have any issues I will update this review.

The dog’s hair dryer was missing a rubber gasket on the hose. I measured one that was on the other end of the hose and the units I ordered from Amazon fit perfectly! Yeah!!

Have used this company before, usual reliable and quick service.Needed quickly as guests arriving next day. Slightly smaller than original (the 2mm cross section was 2.5mm) but I knew that when ordering and it would still create a perfect seal. Price wise it was cheaper than buying 2 specific bath plug spares and with next day delivery this was the one for me.
