It doesn't attach to the house like a normal external light fixture, and my builder had to add some additional support for the bracket to attach to the house solidly. But the bracket is really solid, good quality. And amazingly bright. Like NFL Stadium bright! Now I only wish I would have gotten the (optional) motion sensor. I didn't attach any switch for the "low" setting, and I think that's probably a waste. If I lasts (and it sure looks like it should) this is a clear winner.

I bought 4 of these Parking Lot lights for our Church. We had previously installed four other LED lights that apparently weren't as water proof as advertised; they had to be replaced after only 5 years. We installed the new lights on existing telephone poles in our parking lot. We needed to rent a lift since the lights are too large and heavy for one person to handle and install them from a ladder. Although the lights have a built-in mounting bracket, we used the two threated-hole bracket that came with the lights to install the them. We drilled holes through the poles, put stainless steel threaded rods through the pole into the threaded bracket on the back side of the pole and bolted them through light fixture's built- in bracket to properly support the lights. The lights are up there to stay. Once up and operating, our parking lot is so well lit that it rivals the high school football stadium down the road. These light were properly designed so water won't be a problem. I recommend them.

Put one of these on front of my new workshop, easy to install, 150 watt setting is more than enough light !

Awesome light! I live on a farm and have an led light on a power pole in the back yard that only lights up the back yard which was disappointing. I put this one up on my machine shed which is next to the road and mind you it's about a 75 yards between lights. It lights up the road, the house , but not too bright, and even overpowers the light in the back yard. Well worth the money! Hope this was helpful.

Purchased 7 lights, intallation after set-up was OK. after 2 weeks, 1 light is out. it is the dead of winter now, may be awhile before we can get back up to the top of the pole to replaced. However, these lights are bright, color is great, just like being in the sun at midnight.

My post/pole for the light is only about 20'. This light needs to be up at least 30' to be effective. Good product/well structured, but I returned it because it was too much for my pole. I would recommend it to someone with a very tall pole or a building where the product at least 30' tall.

I bought this light to replace an old mercury vapor light, all I can say is wow! This light is the brightest 300 watt led light my neighborhood or I have ever seen! What an incredible amount of light this thing puts out. And it was very easy to mount on a wooden telephone pole and wire to my existing 110 volt electrical supply! I would definitely recommend it and will buy again!

I bought 3 of these lights to replace 400W Metal Halide Shoebox lights on 20-ft poles. They are much brighter than the 8-year old Metal Halides. Quite easy to install, and the ability to adjust the angle actually improved the area coverage. Had a minor glitch with the internal wiring in one of the lamps, but it was easily fixed.Highly recommend these lamps.
