Yes you can fix your steering click by yourself for under 20 bucks. Shop was going to charge me over 500 dollars. Had this part delivered and two hours later I dropped my steering column and had this piece installed and click free. I should not have waited so long. Driving is so peaceful now. Worth every cent

Did the install today, after picking up some guidance online in videos. While I had my usual struggles with the 'snap-tight' electrical connectors, and the overall tight interior environment, I eventually found my steering clanks and clunks were from exactly this little part, chewed all to pieces in my steering gears. Cleaned out the old pieces, installed the new and reassembled everything, and the fix is immediate and very much improved. Installation requires some mechanical ability, but no exotic tools, and took me a couple hours very much 'slow, step-by-step' since my mechanic ability is limited. All in all, well worth the effort.

Perfect size for what I was looking for. The car shop was going to charge me $400 to replace this, but with some online tutorials, I was able to figure it out myself. The quality of the piece was perfect. Now my steering wheel makes no noise when I turn it, which is exactly what I wanted.

Perfect for 2013 model. Was able to do the full replacement process in ~2 hours and steering response/control is better than it has been in the last 7 years. Worth saving $700 that was quoted by mechanic to handle the process.

I had that dreaded clicking noise in my steering... After checking out the YouTube videos and finding out that my deal wanted $430(!) to replace the coupler, I decided to give it a shot. I'm SOOO glad I did! My steering feels brand new, and no more clicking noise! Some caveats...1) I decided to label all of the electrical plugs. Even though they only fit a certain way, it just helped when it was time to plug everything back in.2) The YouTube videos edit out all the time it takes to get the long 14mm bolt out from behind the steering column. It is a total PITA - it's also torque'd on pretty good, so get ready for a fight.3) When you finally get those 3 T30 screws off and lift the power steering unit, it's a mess in there! Clean it up good, and use an air sprayer to get the last bits out.4) Getting the wheel back in place is a two-man job. Get someone to help - and buy them a beer (if they're over 21).That's it! I think I'll spend my $400 savings on a good bottle of whisky (and most likely spend the rest here on Amazon...)Time: 2hrs 30minDIY Level: 2 (Basic tools, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, T30)

Steering now works like new, old one wasn't as deteriorated as some seen online but clicking when turning the wheel is now gone.

The terrible steering motor design of Hyundai motors is unbelievable. Driving my hyundai sonata 2011 on rough roads and cornering was a nightmare with clicking and clunky noises. When I researched about the issue, I got to know about this coupler. Trust me it works , it stopped all weird noises.
