I never thought I'd be leaving a review of a spoon, but here we are. I absolutely love this thing! (and so did she)My wife and I have an ongoing war with each other, getting things that say "I love you more" on them. She gave me a coffee mug with a personalized statement from her, so this is my retaliation.We eat a lot of ice cream in this house, so this dessert-type spoon works well for us. It is on the thin side, and I do worry about bending it sometimes, but that's why it goes into soft desserts and teacups, not for casseroles.It's been through the wash several times, and we haven't seen any degradation of the text or shine of the metal, so this is definitely a keeper.
