I recently purchased the Ibera Bicycle Lightweight Aluminum Water Bottle Cage, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Giving it a 5/5 stars without hesitation. The lightweight design does not add any noticeable weight to my bike, which is essential for long rides. The aluminum construction promises durability and has held up well against the wear and tear of daily use. It's also incredibly easy to install and fits a variety of bottle sizes, ensuring that I stay hydrated on the go without any hassle. Highly recommended for any cycling enthusiast looking for a reliable and stylish water bottle cage.

I bought this 5 days before my first triathlon, the Santa Cruz half Ironman. Along with new saddle cage holder, aero-bars and a top-tube pouch, I was violating the first rule of racing: Do not try anything new on race day.The bottle cages worked great. I had an oversized Camelback, insulated water bottle and a typical, cheaper plastic cycling bottle branded by Pearl Izumi. It held both of them great. The free Arrowhead sports bottles of water they gave out along the course didn't work out so great. They were a bit too small and one bounced out when I hit some shoulder indicator bumps on the road. This isn't the fault of the bottle cage, unless there are some out there that can adjust from the large camelback insulated ones all the way down to a narrow sports bottle size.Another issue that came up was a screw came on one of the bottle cages. Again, not the problem of the bottle cage, but thought I would mention it to warn others to tighten their screws properly if not put some Loctite thread lock on it too (don't over tighten or you'll strip the cage holder's threads). Luckily, I kept the down tube cage still attached as a spare and was able to use it.As far as the race went, the bike went great but I paid for it on the run. I know next time to make the bike about 10 minutes slower so I can drop 40 minutes off the run!

While not as light as carbon bottle cages, these Ibera aluminum cages work great. You can bend them ever so much so they grab different size bottles at just the right tension - tight enough to handle bumpy roads, but easy enough to get the bottles in and out quickly while riding. They price is hard to beat for such well made and durable cages.

Comes with low-profile screws and an allen wrench to screw them in. My bike came with color matched lug screws, so it would have been nice to use those, but the heads of those screws are too high and dig into the bottles, so I used the provided screws, which worked fine. They are raw metal, but you don't see them when the cages are in use, so it doesn't really matter. The cages themselves are very lightweight (definitely lighter than the cages they replaced) although maybe not as light as carbon. They hold bottles snugly, but still very easy to get them out when you need a drink while riding. I also have a Tribit bluetooth speaker and the cage holds it quite snugly, but not so much that I feel I might damage it trying to get it in or out of the cage (which was a concern with the old cages that were replaced). I went on a 35 mile ride after install and bottle and Tribit were held in place with no movement. I haven't tried on gravel yet, but considering some of the bumps I went over, I don't expect gravel to be a problem.

Very happy with these cages. The aluminum is light and strong. The matte black finish goes perfectly with my matte black bike frames but they'd go with any paint color. The throat is sized perfectly for standard size bottles. I bought these cages to replace some plastic cages that were overly snug and made inserting the bottles somewhat difficult. Wit these new Ibera cages, bottle insertion is easy and retention is strong. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Not much to complain about, lol. So far, these are working great! No bending, chipping, or excessive wear. Have used many bottle shapes in it - all fine. Design is great - easy to remove/put in bottle (plus it looks cool). The cage does rub against the bottles over time - slightly scratches bottles, but I don't mind. You could sand or tape the contact surfaces. It is lightweight and relatively strong (for the material amount). Several friends got the same cage and like it as well. It holds bottles.I would recommend using LocTite on the screws - the screws can loosen over timeUPDATE: June, 2023Still going strong, no problems. Have gone through tons of rain, dust, mud, etc

These are my favorite cages and I install them on all of my bikes. Light-weight aluminum with a great matte finish on the black ones. Minimal amount of material but keeps a firm grip on bottles. If you're a competition rider and grams matter you can spend quite a bit more to go lighter. Otherwise, these are great for every other type of riding.

Well made, smooth edges that won't cut your hand. A little large for a smaller water bottle. No big deal, squeeze the aluminum brackets together to fit your bottle. If the coating rubs off, who cares. It's aluminum and won't rust. Relax, it's a water bottle holder, not a piece of jewelry. The two pack is is an outstanding value. Thank you for a good product at a very good price.
