These were a xmas gift for my granddaughter she loves them only quirk is they only came with one skate lace

Got these for my son who just turned eight. His hockey skates are size 2 but he's a growing boy and his sneakers are now size 3 so figured he was going to need larger skates.These are lighter skates and have a push button mechanism to "stretch" then out to the next size. I tried to get a decent shot of the settings on the bottom that list A through D for the various sizes. His is set to C although I my photo I show the range with the smaller one set to A and the other set to D.These are easier to slip on and off for him although the laces stick to the Velcro strap and that can be annoying. He said it's comfortable although my wife and I had our doubts. He wanted to skate with them the weekend they arrived so he wore them to his hockey lesson.I bought his hockey skates just in case he decided he wanted to switch back. Within the first few minutes he had fallen twice and didn't look confident so I was prepared to swap skates. He stuck with them though and made it through the lesson. When I asked which he prefers, he said "maybe both" so I think he's adjusting to the new skates but I'll let him decide.I think these are perhaps good for normal skating but he may want his hockey skates for his lessons. Time will tell.

Liked the concept of adjustable shoes size but you really need to put some effort in to adjust the shoes size, hard to use. Built quality is what I would expect in this price range.Kids did not complain that it hurts their feet so that's a good thing

This skates are perfect for beginner or who doesn't skate much. Honestly I'm not a fan of ice skate but my kids n hubby loves it so I have to join them. I don't mind too be on the rink, my most dislike part is to put on that small tight figure skates and the sore on your feet after skating. I've tried hockey skates too but too big for my feet.I saw someone has this adjustable skate and looks very comfortable then I found it on Amazon. It very light weight comparing with hockey skate. Its very warm and comfortable, very soft and thick fur inside and comes with removable furry sole pads for extra warm. It's true size, medium wide , has 4 adjustable sizes, I wear woman shoes size 7 which I set it to B. This is the most easy ice skates shoes to put on, I usually need help to put on ice skate shoes but his one just a slip in and clip.This is perfect for slow skater or beginner.

As a hockey player with custom made skates and my own skate sharpener, I was skeptical of these skates for my daughter but I thought I'd give it a try. She is an amazing skater, but with her feet growing like crazy I not longer buy her high end level skates, until her growing stops a little.I know she would be able to skate on anything, as long as the boot fits and the blade stays on. Well, we will never know with these because they sent a XL when a L was ordered.Even if she was able to use them, I also have some pretty big concerns for the quality. One tip off was how it's kind of hard to tell which is right or left. They are both kind of like straight sleds. Another things is the adjusting of them does not seem very secure, and seems there be a lot of flex on it.I'll find out how the flex works though, because they are so big they fit me, and next game I'll wear them in warmups so the teams can have a pretty good laugh at my Amazon purchase fails.

They have a great look to them but as soon as I unpackaged them I noticed one of the lace loops arrived broken off. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to using them which they are now not as usable so they do not tighten properly on the foot. Other than that, overall nice.

Bought these for my 9 year old (wears a size 4). I actually ordered a Large but they sent a Medium and it works just fine. We use the number 2 setting. Child says they are more comfortable that the ones at the ice rink and they work great for her learn to skate classes.
