These skates are amazing for low budget skates for beginners wanting to play hockey. The skates however are not accurately sized as I saw in previous reviews which lead me to get one size up from my shoe size. But overall they felt like pillows despite the hard outer shell. They do not endure any pain like other hockey brands do and when they are sharpened the stay sharp.
