Ordered this for our granddaughter’s Mermaid themed birthday gift. Didn’t think much of it at the time, bit it arrived today and we took that baby for a test drive, after I finally figured out how to get it prepared for proper functioning, for me that was a task. Super easy to put together, I love the light variation choices and the selection of the different shades & colors are huge for a toddler and adults!!!! My husband and I got the batteries in and played withe multiple functions on the easy to operate remote if the baby knows their colors they will have no problem independently operating this🤗 The price point is excellent for this nightlight 🤑You will not be disappointed I promise🤞ðŸ½â€¦oh and not just a light for my baby’s room but I’m going to also use it at her party on the food tables, multi-functional🙌🾠I’m so excited you would think I was the one turning 3🥳🤣🥳

I really like that it’s easy to use and assemble. When you place the plexiglass cat on the stand it will wobble if your small child plays with it. The plexiglass itself seems sturdy enough. I like the fact that it’s not too bright and that the colors change. I also like the fact that the cat does not get hot after using it all night. Just so that it is clear, if you want to get the paper off the back, you have to use a blunt object to get a little of the paper off and then pull off the rest of the paper. You have to be careful that you don’t scratch the plexiglass. This is not a three-dimensional nightlight. I think it’s probably good for kids for a little older say age 5 to 7.

The light looks really cute and it arrived in good condition. The box included the round base, usb cable, and acrylic cat piece, and instructions. The height dimensions include the base so the cat itself is small but I’m sure it will be very cute and fun for a kid. It doesn’t include the 3 AA batteries you’ll need if you don’t want to plug it in to a usb plug in. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the outer box which was pretty plain and cheap looking - didn’t close up real tight. The inside packing was really nice, foam insert to protect the base, etc. Too bad the actual box wasn’t as nice as everything else. I printed out the color picture of the cat from the Amazon page and taped it to the top of the box, added 3 batteries which fit nicely in the foam insert inside the box, taped the box closed so it looked nicer, and wrapped it. I would buy this again as a gift because it’s such a good value for the price and everything except the outer box was so nice. I’m pretty picky about presentation ….the box would probably not be a big deal for most people.

It is a great option for the kid's room, but there are issues with the power cable. Sometimes it blinks and I have to unplug and plug it in again for it to work.

This has been a great nightlight for my kid. The light can be plugged in so there’s no need for batteries, but if you do choose to use it on batteries instead of electric, it start to fade after about 2-3 nights of use. The remote was nice, but that got lost pretty fast. My kid loves getting to choose a color every night, or every once in a while they’ll choose the rotating color option, which is great till it cycles to red. Red seems to be soooo dark, but every other color shines nicely.
