This is a very nice rainsuit for the price. It is generously sized to fit over riding gear. I put it on over my Joe Rocket Phoenix armored mesh riding jacket and pants, which are size Medium, and this Medium rainsuit fit over it without a problem, so sizing-up is not necessary. It also has plenty of reflectivity panels so that you can still be seen in low-light situations if you’ve covered-up the reflectivity on your riding jacket.The jacket and pants have a mesh liner, which if against bare skin or a t-shirt would be nice, but since I am using this over my riding gear, it is a non-issue; I guess it helps protect the waterproof coating. I really like the tall collar and the Velcro cuffs of the sleeves and pants. The Velcro pockets on the outside of the jacket, and the one inside at the chest is a nice touch. The pants also have handwarmer pockets, but those cannot be sealed.The jacket has a hood which folds up into the collar when not in use, but because I will be wearing my helmet, I have no need for the hood. I suppose I will use the hood when on a trip and walking around town if it’s raining, but I won’t be using the hood when riding.Despite how much I like this suit, it does have a few drawbacks to be aware of:- It has a European zipper, that is, the zipper-pull is on the left side instead of the right, which is mildly annoying but not a dealbreaker.- There is no gusset or zipper on the cuffs of the pants, so I must remove my boots to get the pants on.- The hood comes with a separate clear plastic duckbill visor and mask that they call the Cap Eaves. It is wonky to set up, which uses four snaps and a strip of Velcro. I find it’s not necessary with a helmet, and without a helmet it easily fogs-up. It is not something I will be using at all.- Curiously, there was a tag inside the pants that said it was an XL size. Fortunately, after trying it on, however, it was indeed a Medium.- Unless you look for the pockets, it is difficult to immediately tell which side of pant is the front, and there is no fly opening.Despite my quibbles, it is a really nice suit at only fifty dollars that when I tested it in the rain, kept me nice and dry. Since it is made of polyester, if it touches hot pipes it will melt, so be aware of that.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale the safety and well-being of our members is priority one. Immediately following is our love of riding gadgets and accessories. This wet weather gear potentially fits both categories. It arrives tightly folded up inside of a zippered bag. Very nice but don't think that you will get it back in there once used. Not really an issue since you will most likely not keep it in the storage bag due to the need for airing out the gear after use. I noted right away that the material used is moderate to heavy thickness. There is cloth webbing fabric lining most of the insides. Not that it will help with any temperature control. I tried the set on inside of a well cooled air conditioned room in my home and almost immediately began to feel warm followed by sweating. Had it on for a few minutes and already felt like I might need a shower. Also a major consideration is the need to order one size down from what you'd expect. There is no fitting chart but I went with the website recommendation that is compared to what I had ordered in the past. So I got a large when a medium would be much better. Not a deal breaker due to the availability of adjustments to fit in many areas by velcro straps. For example on the sleeve ends and cuffs on the pants. The front or rear of the pants can be determined by the placement of the side pockets. I am noting that you can be fully dressed underneath the wetsuit and still have lots of room. Could not figure out the plastic shield use-poor instructions included. Will most likely not use the hood so I will leave it folded in the collar. All things considered I would recommend the purchase an use of this set as long as you get the correct sizing. And as always remember:Ride Safe, Ride Strong, Ride Happy!!UPDATE: Without any prompting from me the manufacturers and producers have contacted me to offer a no charge correction of the size of my wet suit. I expect that they actually monitor their customers reviews. Extremely satisfied-very happy actually-the fit is perfect now. Will absolutely recommend this buy to anyone who needs this kind of wetwear. They do not request a return of the oversized item either. So I will be sure to gift this one out to one of my very deserving club members. Thank you guys so much at iCreek!!
