These connectors are easy to use and solved my problem. I tried to install three smart switches to control my outside lights. The electrical boxes are filled with twist on wire nuts which do not leave much room for the smart switches. The smart switches are too wide and deep. To make a room, I replaced all the wire nuts with Ideal connectors. This freed up quite a bit of room for the smart switches. Problem solved. Also, the ideal connectors except solid and stranded wires with no problem. Solid wire in the electricalbox and stranded wires from the smart switches.

I'd been looking for this tipe of electrical connecter to use on some electrical repairs, so easy to use for many wire sizes. The brand Ideal is a name I'm familiar with in quality electrical supplies.

These are a much better choice for indoor wiring then nuts. They seem to hold much better and no guessing if the wire stays in when doing a receptacle. I’ll not use wire nuts again for this application.

These are great, you can see the wire inside and they're easy to use. Only problem is getting wires out is a bit hard, I still haven't figured that out yet. But I've used these on a couple electrical projects, adding a couple light fixtures and an outlet for a wall mounted TV and all has been fine.

These easily replaced wire nuts and are so much easier to use. They are sturdy well made and do the job wellAn added benefit is that they are much faster than screwing around with wire nuts no pun intended

These work better than wire nuts. Some might say they are not as safe but I ran into a few situations where the wire nuts were not properly done and the wires just fell out. You do need to push the wires in pretty firmly to get a good hold and so far these have held up great. I now use these instead of wire nuts. Much faster too !

Solid wire inserted very easily but removal was difficult to impossible - but that’s good! However, a single wire composed of strands was not rigid enough to insert. Tried 2 wires twisted together but that was too big for the opening and wouldn’t insert either.

Recommend these, Not the Chinese no- name ones. Excellent and quick for use with low amperage applications, pot lights, lighting etc. For higher potential amperage requirements strongly suggest sticking to marretts (wire wing nuts)

... but if you DO change your mind and need to remove one wire from a bundle it's a bit awkward to twist one wire amongst the bundle. Flipping a lever and removing the wire is much simpler and the only way to go if the wire is stranded.
