This is just what the doctor ordered. I was wiring up a solar system in my RV and needed a couple connections that were going to be in tight spaces. Installing a box and making the connections inside would have been a problem. These are insulated, come in a variety of sizes, and are easy to install. Perfect

Expensive, but it makes large gauge cables easy to connect, seems very secure... I probably would not pay the expense for the smaller wires. I was connecting multiple 6awg wires.

Used this to connect my cook top to wall oven. Great way to connect different wire guages together. Should also eliminate any potential failures a wire nut would have due to excessive heat generated by the oven. I hate using wire nuts and tape for larger gauge connections. This was great. Worth the money.

These worked perfectly for me on 8 AWG copper wire to make a splice for a 50 amp outlet. The rubber coating was very thick (minimum 1/8") so I have no worries about their insulating ability. The caps that cover the screws add a layer of protection against moisture or dust causing damage to the connectors so they will come apart easily if needed in the future for service. The connectors were also filled with some sort of anti-corrosion jelly which was a nice bonus.

Connecting aluminum to copper wires safely needs special attention. For smaller gauges (10 and above), Alumiconn's purple boxes are more economical. But I need to deal with a 6 gauge 240V aluminum wire from the breakers and split it into 2 12 gauge copper wires. This connector is the best solution I can find. It is easy to install and compact in size. I can still push a pair of them into a metal electrical box.

These things are fantastic! They're prefilled with anti-oxident compound. They can take a range of wire gauges. I installed them today and it was so simple for a large wire (low gauge) pigtail. Totally worth the cost, yeah they're pricey..

Used with a 40amp breaker for charging my Tesla it caused the out coating to melt and short the circuit. Could of caused an electrical fire, but the circuit breaker kicked in thank gosh!
