OK - so I've heard that German cars have VERY sensitive tolerances when it comes to replacing incandescent bulbs with newer/brighter LEDs. My 911 previously went through two other sets of LED lights - all of which worked, but all of which kicked out an error on the dash because they pulled such a small amount of energy, that the car thought there was no light there (which is kinda cool, when you think about it!). I was *THIS* close to just replacing the entire light array with a new LED offering (unfortunately, a $400+ option), when I thought, I'll give these lights a try before I capitulate. My thinking was - if they work for Mercedes (as noted in the description), they should also work for Porsche (997.1).THEY WORK!!!!SO if you need to replace your Daytime Running Lights (ask "parking lights" aka DTRs) on your German vehicle, this is a GREAT way to go. Fantastic shipping, great price. LOOKS fantastic, and no more error on the dash.

Works great on my 2011 C300 4Matic (W204), and no errors!!!! Before ordering, I would recommend to verify how many parking light you will need. My C300 needed 4 bulbs, so I had to order two more.**** UPDATE ****Change from 5 stars to one star. The bulbs are bright, but they don't last long. I have 10 Bulbs (5 sets) and 7 of have already gone bad.

Replaced DRL's on 2005 SLK 350 (R171)Huge difference. From Yellow to WHITE.ERROR FREE... These cars are really finicky about replacing regular bulbs with LED's.Since the LED's draw such little power, the car thinks the bulb is "burned out" and will give a "bulb out" indicator on the dash display. Of course the LED is working, Cars computer just doesn't know it. If you don't mind warning/error/various indicators been lit up on your display, buy any led on the market.BUT, if you are like me and want your stuff done right, buy from these guys and look for the "ERROR FREE" items. These have the additional circuitry to "override/fool" the onboard computer so it doesn't give you the "bulb out" message.I ONLY use iJDMTOY for led's on both my Mercedes and BMW. A little more money, but a lot less headache.LED's make my 2005 look much more modern. You can see the difference from old bulb being "yellowish" to the LED being "bright white" The other pic shows the original filament bulb and the 10 LED replacement next to each other.As a side note. This is kind of a PITA job on this particular car. Have to remove wheel and the fender liner to get to bulbs. Yes, I know some guys can finagle their way down there or just "loosen and bend" the liner back. I prefer to do stuff the correct way, even if it's a PITA.

Throw these in with the canbust error kits, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DZD6ZU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and you're good to go with bright lights. I used them as parking lights and I'm totally satisfied. Other reviewers complained about bulbs going out? Order extras as the bright light is worth the sacrifice.

Works on my 2014 RAM 1500 and the resistors that are built in prevent the truck from giving an error reading. The problem is that I used them for my license plate lights and they are so bright they cause glare in my backup camera. This may not be a problem for other locations.After having the lights for about 6 months one of the bulbs started flickering randomly. I thought it might be a lose connector but it turns out the bulb itself had gone bad.Because they were too bright I went ahead and just replaced them with standard bulbs as the options for the error free canbus LED bulbs is limited it is not worth it for me to try other bulbs.

I purchased these for my 2013 C300. I purchased these on May 23 and today 2 of the led modules on one of the bulbs began to flicker. I turned off the car and turned it back on, but the issue still remains. For the price of the bulbs, I would have thought that they would have lasted more than 2 months...

I have a mercedes benz r 63 amg I got everything replaced to the current gen. the light were hid but not the parking light these worked great with my rare only 100 made 600 hp supper wagon. hard to get in but after great. ðŸ‘

i do agree with others bulb does not last long. i would not suggest to purchase them. it has not even been over a year and one side of the bulb is already flickering and at times it take a while to light up.

Look nice and light up great initially l, the it’s all downhill from there. 9 out of 10 have failed within a few months. Also, the metal ring on the top comes off and will fall into your headlight housing.
