I used this on my JK with an NMO mount VHF/UHF antenna. I very much like the placement of the mount for a few reasons. The cable slides right into the gap in the cowling, making it essentially invisible. When driving the antenna is mostly hidden behind the pillar, and the top of my 37-inch antenna very closely matches the top of the AM/FM radio antenna on the other side (and fits under the garage door).I used a step drill bit with max diameter 3/4-inch to enlarge the hole for the NMO mount. But due to the thickness of this metal bracket, the mount didn't just slide in easily. I had to use a file to enlarge the hole just a little, and then it went in.One frustration is that the bracket is 90-degrees but the body (JK at least) isn't vertical. I had to bend the bracket by about 4 degrees in a vise so that the antenna is vertical when mounted.I used some leftover soft tool box drawer liner between the bracket and the body to not scratch the paint.

It does what it's supposed to do on my JK Jeep Wrangler. Goes on using the existing screw on the Jeep. The only modification I made (which I'm surprised it didn't come with) was putting a rubber pad between the bracket and the paint on the Jeep, to keep it from scratching, or otherwise wearing the paint off.Other than that, it was a perfect fit, and very easy to install.

Used for weBoost OTR antenna. I used on the passenger side. On the driver side, it looks like it encroaches on the door opening. It doesn’t, so if you do install on driver side, just to be sure, test the swing of your door before tightening down. I used the Jeep ratchet included with my jeep and used my existing bolt from the jeep. This comes with a round rubber like gasket to protect your paint. I’m not sure what the enclosed bolt fits onto unless you drill into the body. And, I wouldn’t use that bolt for that. Works great for what I am using it for and was easy to install. Maybe took 5 minutes or so.

1. You will need to grind down the lower part that inserts into the jeep slightly. Otherwise, it won't fit.2. You will need a longer bolt to fit the bracketIf you have a grinder and bolts laying around as I do in the shop it's no big deal and it's super sturdy. But if you live in Cali/AZ and you are "upgrading your jeep" like a lame non-off-road hippy. Its not gonna work bud. Also, sell that jeep unless it sees more off-road time than tarmac. If you have a stock jeep for fun then that's fine. But the second you add stuff to it and you don't off-road it makes you immediately a gender assumer

As previous reviewer on the Gladiator JT, it does not fit with the provided bolt so be prepared to find a long enough Jeep bolt or return it. False advertising say it fits the JT.

Bought this to install a Midland Ghost antenna on my JKU. Seems well made and the powder coat seems well done. The only issue I had, the hole for the Ghost antenna had to be enlarged.

This is very sturdy and easy to mount. Just one existing bolt on my Jeep is removed and reinstalled with this mount.

Great fit although the screw supplied was too short and I needed to use an alternative.

Beware of paint being rubbed off on driver side corner of hood.

While item is shipped as displayed, I can advise the bolt supplied with the bracket is not compatible with a JT Gladiator and possibly a JL based on the mounting location. Was only able to mount due to having a spare bolt that was long enough with the right thread! Bracket mat be 'Compatible' - But make sure you have a bolt to mount it with.
