  • A stylish dark red matte finish lens with a durable ABS plastic body, powered by 15 super bright red LED diodes behind specially designed projectors for more focused lighting, featuring tail/running light and brake/stop light functions

Cheap plastic retainer pin, but the light itself is decent and bright for both tail lights and an extra brake light. Second one and first lasted two years with all LED lights still working before I broke it while loading. Has a foam gasket to seal against the receiver to prevent rattle, too. Def worth the price.

This thing is decently bright and looks pretty slick. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND replacing the 4 pin connector if you have a spare or shave down the plastic between the 1st and second pins, otherwise you'll bend them trying to install. Also ontop of that carefully taking it apart and waterproofing it. Its cheap for a reason and this is clearly a way to cut cost and bring people back to buy more lol either way, do these mods to have it last longer than those who installed without paying attention. The front cover clips in with a tab on each side. With a plastic tool, pry at the side with a small gap for a tool and work your way around. I fractured one corner, but it was easily fixed with epoxy.Next, remove the 4 screw holding the led panel into the plastic. You'll notice it has all connectors open to the environment, stands off of the plastic mount and will easily allow water to come in and stay to corrode your connections! Buy yourself some PlastiDip by DupliColor and coat BOTH SIDES 3 or 4 times. They say to let it sit 4 hours between coats, but we aren't making it pretty, we are water proofing and it is NOT conductive once dried (people coat their pc motherboards for an easy 1 color scheme and those are far more expensive than this crap). A clean application doesn't matter as long as its thick and 100% covering connections. Make sure to angle the spray to hit the under side of your LEDS.Next with a finger or a tool, spend the next 10-30 min carefully pulling up a corner of plastidip from every led and rip it off. If you haven't done this before it is tedious with such a small area, but it comes off quickly once you can grip a corner with your fingers or small tweezers, I found working around the side made it less likely to tear, maybe you'll find an easier way, but the final product should be an entire LED is uncovered while the board IS. So turn some music on and take your time so you don't break the LED connections that stand them off the PCB. The thicker the plastidip, the easier they are to rip off without tearing into pieces.Next install the board with clear silicone, and then the cover with silicone on the inside and out to fill the seam. This may be overkill and will make removal a BEAR if you ever need to open it, but I didn't care about that, I'd rather not have moisture buildup or resting water while the lights are on, though... might be good for cooling???. Also, nonconductive silicone shouldn't matter because of the plasti dip, but in case you missed some of the electrical components let it dry!! Otherwise you'll short the board potentially or burn out an LED.Either way, this should last a long time assuming the LEDS don't over heat, ill update it thats an issue and post another fix. I'll also upload some pics soon.P.s. It may be overkill, you probably don't HAVE to coat the front and save some time, I have a second board because I thought I screwed up on the first one I bought where I just tried to coat the back of the PCB without opening it up and went overboard on the spray where it dripped onto the inside of the lense because I didn't realize it was all open air!! You could get away with light spraying the back of the board. And filling it with silicone and doing the same for the front cover seams. Either way would work and will be better than nothing.

It is a straight forward connection so that was easy. However, the light does not function as advertised. Very dim and no change in illumination when braking or using signals. I would look else where. The light is just constantly on and dim when lights are on.

The concept is good but implementation is poor. There is no attempt at waterproofing the circuit boards with the LED installed, so I would expect failure due to corrosion in a short time. I modified the unit by adding non corrosive silicon sealant to the exposed rear of the circuit board which should make the unit last. The unit does look good when installed and finishes off an unused Towing receiver. Also had to rewire for Australian 7 pin plug connector, but I knew this was the case. it is what it is.

Cumple pero hasta ahi, se siente bastante débil y de plásticos baratos así como el cableado, la tengo en un auto que no uso mucho así que no se cuanto dure y si aguante las lluvias
