How to Improve Life
- Blade installation is the first step, make sure teeth is shown outside the guide, and blade strip is clamped tightly inside the guide.
- Teeth direction should be the same with the direction of wheel rotation, twist the blade from inside to outside if teeth direction is opposite.
- Running-in is required when blade cuts metal for the first time. It's important for blade life. During running-in, cutting speed should be 1/3 of normal speed, feed should be 1/4 of normal feed. Usually, after the blade cuts the first several pieces, like 5-10 pieces, adjust cutting speed and feed gradually to normal speed according relative parameters and your metal.
- Blade tension will be different for differnt wide blades, as time goes on, blade tension will be reduced by the bandsaw and blade stretch, make sure the blade is correct tension, our recommended blade tension is 300N/mm2.
- Coolant will be useful to cool and lubricate blade and teeth during cutting, better coolant could avoid overheat on the teeth of the blade, and reduce friction between the blade and the metal you cut.
- Teeth selection is also important, here are our experience:
- big variable teeths (like 3/4TPI, 4/6TPI, 5/8TPI) are for cutting ferrous solid rod with big diameter;
- big constant teeth (like 6TPI) is for cutting ferrous solid rod with small diameter;
- big variable teeth (like 6/10TPI) is for cutting aluminum, copper, brass etc and other non-ferrous metal;
- middle variable teeths (like 8/12TPI, 10/14TPI) are for ferrous thick tubing, profile, sheet, plate etc;
- small constant teeth (14TPI) is for general purpose;
- small variable teeths (like 12/16TPI, 14/18TPI) is for ferrous thin tubing, sheet, plate, profile etc;
- small constant teeth (24TPI) is for ferrous thin tubing, plate, sheet etc, don't cut non-ferrous metal, like aluminum etc.
Welding Joint
We weld blades with high performance welding machine to make sure welding joint looks perfect.
Teeth Direction
Default teeth direction is rightward, if you want leftward direction, please twist the blade from inside to outside.

I use the bands on both my horizontal and vertical saws. They are the best I've found for the money. Don't hogg into them, slow down and let them cut. A band at this price that will make over 2000 cuts is a good value to me.

I've ordered these blades twice, not because they broke or wore out quickly, but because I wanted different TPI configurations. These are great blades. Highly recommended. I will continue purchasing them if they ever wear out!

Got a little bit of use on this blade now. So far so good. I cut aluminum mostly but has cut steels no problem, even few cuts of tool steel. This is by far the smoothest blade, the weld seam, that I've had in a while. It's nearly invisible! I have 2 SuperCuts that failed at the weld with low miles on them, one which was welded crooked to begin with. I hope all of their blades are made this well because I'll be buying more.UPDATE 4/6/21 I just finally replaced this blade, with the same blade. This blade is just as smooth as the last one. The saw doesn't get used everyday but it's seen it fair share of use for a home guy through quite a few projects. The blade finally started to crack, but not a the weld. It has lost a few teeth, due to cutting small rods or probably the stainless exhaust pipe, so that doesn't help overall life.I still say it's better than any Super Cut that I've had in the past and will continue buying these.

I bought the Imachinist S6412121014 blade in august of 2019. at the time the blade that originally came with my bandsaw was working fine. After two moves of my shop and two years eight months later I finally got tired of hearing my bandsaw bump and grind like a bad erotic dancer.I replaced the blade with the iMachinist and took a cut on some 5/8-inch steel round stock.It was a beautiful cut. I chose the 10/14tpi blade because most of my cutting is aluminum with some plastic, wood and steel thrown in. The blade was very surprising on the cleanliness of cut.
