Your bandsaw will cut better and faster, with less wear on bearings, shafts and tires. Tooth angles and gullet symmetries, combined with a unique set pattern, create a blade that is everything a wood-cutting blade was meant to be. Blade has over 60% of the speed capabilities of a hook blade, while giving you the great finish of a skip. The round design of the gullet eliminates any work hardening zones. Couple that with the special 6.5° rake, five-tooth set pattern, and .025"-thick thin kerf blade, and you have an awesome bandsaw blade!

I use this blade for most of my resawing needs and it works excellently. Having said this, I generally don’t need to resaw beyond 8†or 9†but I have every confidence that it would do fine up to the 12†capacity of my bandsaw.

I found the instructions very helpful. It is somewhat of a debate about de-tensioning the blade when not in use. I think it is a good idea.

I also bought this blade for a new Laguna 14|12. At the price paid, it offers very good bang for the buck but I did have to smooth the weld a bit before it would acceptably feed through the ceramic guides. It cuts with gusto, tracks well, and leaves a surface somewhat better than the average band saw blade. Just for the heck of it, I was able to take a 1/32-inch thick slice from the face of a 2-inch wide piece of walnut. Not bad at all, I think. This may well be the go-to, general purpose blade that stays on the say most of the time.

I purchased a Laguna 14-BX bandsaw for resawing and milling lumber. I purchased a 3/4" Pro-Force blade with the saw and it has worked beautifully for the past 4 months. But the blade broke. Because I had seen Timber Wolf blades on a woodworking show on PBS, I thought I'd try them. So I spent 30 min switching out the bades, adjusting the guides, and made a cut. But it immediately veered off. So I tightened the tension more. No difference....even after severely tightening the tension. I could not use the fence for resawing due to the veering and the blade binding. I tried resawing a piece by eye, but the burning was absolutely terrible. It was odd that the blade came in a generic appearing plastic bag without any identification that it was a Timber Wolf blade. Just a plastic bag with a photocopied piece of paper with "six rules of Sawing" with a note from Prime Tools being an authorized deal of Timber Wolf bandsaw blades on the back. It is odd to get a blade that is not in a box.

So far, just cutting scrap wood to see how it works. It works good.

Wanted to resaw S4S boards on Laguna 14BX. Blades are have a permanent warp to them. They come off the top wheel fine and then this big twist comes. I think it's from sitting in the packaged size. Very rough cut. Not impressed.
