How to Improve Life
- Blade installation is the first step, make sure teeth is shown outside the guide, and blade strip is clamped tightly inside the guide.
- Teeth direction should be the same with the direction of wheel rotation, twist the blade from inside to outside if teeth direction is opposite.
- Running-in is required when blade cuts metal for the first time. It's important for blade life. During running-in, cutting speed should be 1/3 of normal speed, feed should be 1/4 of normal feed. Usually, after the blade cuts the first several pieces, like 5-10 pieces, adjust cutting speed and feed gradually to normal speed according relative parameters and your metal.
- Blade tension will be different for differnt wide blades, as time goes on, blade tension will be reduced by the bandsaw and blade stretch, make sure the blade is correct tension, our recommended blade tension is 300N/mm2.
- Coolant will be useful to cool and lubricate blade and teeth during cutting, better coolant could avoid overheat on the teeth of the blade, and reduce friction between the blade and the metal you cut.
- Teeth selection is also important, here are our experience:
- big variable teeths (like 3/4TPI, 4/6TPI, 5/8TPI) are for cutting ferrous solid rod with big diameter;
- big constant teeth (like 6TPI) is for cutting ferrous solid rod with small diameter;
- big variable teeth (like 6/10TPI) is for cutting aluminum, copper, brass etc and other non-ferrous metal;
- middle variable teeths (like 8/12TPI, 10/14TPI) are for ferrous thick tubing, profile, sheet, plate etc;
- small constant teeth (14TPI) is for general purpose;
- small variable teeths (like 12/16TPI, 14/18TPI) is for ferrous thin tubing, sheet, plate, profile etc;
- small constant teeth (24TPI) is for ferrous thin tubing, plate, sheet etc, don't cut non-ferrous metal, like aluminum etc.
Welding Joint
We weld blades with high performance welding machine to make sure welding joint looks perfect.
Teeth Direction
Default teeth direction is rightward, if you want leftward direction, please twist the blade from inside to outside.

Like many others who have purchased this 72 inch metal cutting blade I installed it on a spare Shopsmith bandsaw I had setting around. My main concern was the speed of the saw my be to fast, but to my surprise it worked perfectly, cuts good and doesn't seem to heat up at all. Wish I would have tried this sooner.

just received my bandsaw blade, installed it in my bandsaw, grabbed a piece of scrap 1/8" mild steel to test the blade, and it barely put a scratch in it. I then tried an 1/8" piece of brass, but it wouldn't cut that either. Finally, I tested it on a piece of 1/2" EMT and nothing.Edit: Well my first bad review the seller reached out to me gave me the right blade. Apparently I ordered the wrong one and he communicated with me to get the proper blade i needed. I would contact the seller before purchasing a blade. The second one cuts way better.

I used the blade to cut 4, 3in. Tubular steel legs for a bed. The steel was 1/16th. The first leg cut through very easily. The second leg cut great 9/10th of the way and then slowed. After that, it could barely wear a mark into the third leg. Very disappointing, it took 15min to set it up and only was able to cut for about 45 seconds.Edit: The seller reached out regarding my issue. They have updated the product description and are sending out a different blade, better suited for my need. They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I will absolutely be doing more business with them in the future.

First cut was 3 inches in .25 steel and worked well. I went to make another cut in the same material and the same length and the blade was already dull and wouldn't cut. Disappointing. I am going with a better brand. It was a learning experience.

I've been using it on my Wen 10" band saw for the last few days. When used with cutting oil it cuts 16 gauge steel sheets and 1-1/2" angle cleanly and without effort. Blade still going strong. Highly recommend!
