About the Product
This oil feed glass cutter has a hollow pistol-like grip which can be filled with lubricating oil. It is very comfortable to hold and puts less strain on the wrists. The plastic handle glass cutter has a lightweight, tapered barrel with contoured finger channels designed to fit any size hand. This is a very popular glass cutter for beginners and those who have trouble gripping grip cutters.

Unique Features
Real Tungsten Carbide Wheel
The wheel is made of durable tungsten carbide. Tungsten is a much stronger material than steel. therefore it has a significantly longer life than steel wheels and offer greater and more reproducible penetration in scoring as well as easier opening of the scored glass. It also will last much longer before becoming too dull to make good score. It will also wont oxidize or rust like steel can. The cutting life is over 20,000 meters.
Replaceable Cutting Head
This pencil grip featuring a "changeable wheel/axle" is available for customers who want flexibility in changing wheel angles for different glass thicknesses. Package includes 2 Cutting Head (2-6mm, 6-12mm). Using a narrow head is perfect for intricate scores while doing pattern work and the wide head is designed for straight line production cutting. The cutting head can 360-degree rotate.

Ball-end handle for snapping scored glass
Round metal knocking head, used for knocking glass after cutting or put it under the scratches of glass and split the glass. A rubber gasket on the metal head to prevent oil leaking.
Self-oiling
The automatic oil dispensing system will keep the wheel lubricated while you cut. The transparent handle also acts as a reservoir and lets you monitor the cutting fluid level. For beginners, it's hard to control the oil, to avoid the leak, you can just dab the tip in cotton ball or small cloth soaked with oil before scoring your glass without adding oil into the handle.

How to Use
1. Thoroughly clean the glass you intent to cut. Lay the glass on a clean, flat, layered surface. Measure and mark the glass where you wish to cut.
2. Add some oil into the handle, which make the cutting head more fluent when cutting.
3. Hold glass cutter firmly, maintain the same pressure through out the score. Oil will be emitted as you work You can also use a ruler to score the line.
4. Gently tap the glass underneath the line with the metal ball head, and the glass will break along the line neatly.
6. Smooth out any sharp edges.
Notes:
1. Always wear clear safety glasses and protective gloves while cutting.
2. Don’t go back for a second stroke: score it only once in a smooth, even motion.
3. Cold glass is harder to work with. Getting your glass closer to room temperature makes it easier to work with. Not for use with tempered glass.

I wanted to try a pistol grip cutter, and of course everyone said the Toyo. I decided to try this one because it was a bit cheaper. I love it! I was using a pencil grip before, and I still like that one alot, but this one is really high quality for a lower price. I would buy it again and have recommended it to my friends.

It's sturdy and scores really well, but the oil leaked out all over my cutting surface. It was leaking out around the front and at the plug in the back which i had tightened closed. Disappointing!

The carbide wheel cuts so much better than the steel. The grip also allows me to apply the appropriate pressure to my glass without it shattering on me. I like this style better than the pencil styles because it eases the pain and pressure on my wrists. Great buy.

Once I had got to grips with the oil flow which was fairly simple if you follow the instructions, I found this cutter to be really good. Easy to hold and use and cuts glass well.

Ordered for a friend who sculpts glass. I watched her use this and she was very impressed with it. The glass cut first time and broke apart when gently knocked. A bit tricky getting the oil flow right but it comes with practice.
