I had several picture frames that needed unusual dimensions. I didn’t want to pay for custom glass. I used some broken pieces of a large picture frame to practice my hand pressure before cutting the large piece of glass for my project. I only needed to cut two sides to trim the dimension. I used the smallest cutter since the plate glass was thin. It scored nicely on all my attempts so I felt confident to cut the glass, with the help of that handle. YouTube had some hints which I’ll share: press hard and listen to the scoring while keeping even pressure without going over the line which will damage the cutting wheel.I cut the glass for this image I took in South Carolina. i made a cardboard template and traced it off onto the glass then taped a “metal level†onto the glass to guide my scoring hand. The level is better than a thin flat rule. This glass had to fit an existing handmade custom matted frame, which wasn’t perfectly even. I was able to use a Dremel to grind the corner of the glass down into the wood inner frame. I suggest butting another piece of glass to the piece that’s being cut so that the score line remains straight. (When the cutter drops off at the end of the glass your hand turns making an angle less/greater than 90 degrees)

This product provides a good score! Not sure I like the grip handle as it tens to rotate when you use the brass end to tap the glass

I absolutely love this glass cutter! It is so comfortable and fits nicely in my hand, which is the perfect recipe for a crazy cut. You can use this tool with or without the black attachment. I find it ergonomically perfect. At first I had a little trouble with the flow of oil but, with use it flowed just enough to keep the head from going bad. I have always said that tools are VERY important! A solid, good tool will allow the creative juices to flow and make your job a lot easier.

Can't use it because it doesn't stay tight.

Comfortable grip. Easy to fill. I haven't changed out the head yet so I can't comment on the ease or difficulty of that process.

This product cuts glass very well. is what is expected. The only bad thing is that it does not have a case

Arrived broken with a used oil bulb.Obviously used and returned. Very dull wheels that don’t score the glass properly. Not recommended!

Was looking forward to using it but it arrived with multiple stress cracks where it screws together. Looks like it had been used.
