First time felting, kit had everything I needed and basic instructions. After a few hours I was able to create a design on the included canvas bag. Not done but a good start. I broke/bent 7 needles doing this. Not sure how long they should last but I feel like that didn’t last long at all. The wool pillow is awesome, and the finger cots helpful even though I still managed to stab myself repeatedly. Nice for gifting, or making gifts.

I love the felt board, that is why I bought this set. I love that the needles are seperate don vials by size. The leather thimbles were a nice surprise, I didn’t realized were included. I do not like the single needle holder, I can’t get a snug fit over the needle. Was disappointed in that. The holder with three is amazing quality and I’m really liking it for larger areas of felting. The one with size isn’t working well for me, the needles broke twice while using that one. I’m a beginner so sort of thta might be user error. Over all still happy with my purchase for the pad and the extra needles, will look for a new single needle holder

I am not a felter, but I want to learn. This is a great kit according to my mother who is a needle felter and it has everything I need to get started other than the wool. The tools are nice and pretty easy to figure out and the felting pad is a great addition. Overall I'd recommend this!
