- ecommend using this with a felting mat or foam board to avoid damaging the needles. Since the phenomenon that relatively thin felting needle will be easily broken exists, pls note that it is the normal wear and tear, not because of quality problems. So it is an advice that you buy a few more once.
- Especially beginners are more easier to break the felting needle for uneven force. It may have the smell of fur on the leather fingers, will be dispersed after using for a while.
How To Use:
- Try to poke down the felting needle vertically to avoid diagonally.
- That the most detailed part of the needle fully insert wool is OK, but do not just poke the surface which will be felt bad.
- When poking, plz avoid needle poke from side to side to change direction. (Because the needle will break under external force).
- It is normal for needle poke to wear after using for a long time. If not achieve the effect, you have to get a new felting needles.
- Place the motif on the base fabric and set it on the center of the felting needle mat.Hold the felting needle tool upright.Poke the motif edges first and then poke into the center area and make the felt.
- Poke needles conservation: the material of felting needle is iron. You'd better conserve it with best oil for long time unuse to avoid needle poke rust(If you have no professional maintenance oil, home cooking oil can also do the job).

We have been using this for a very long time. It is as good as brand new. It is easy to use. The needle size is perfect. Comes with extra parts worth every penny. Perfect for my kids to use as well.

I absolutely love my new felting needle. The feel for the wooden version gives me more comfort in felting as it doesn’t make a large racket compared to the plastic, mechanical ones.

I needle felt landscapes. This holder makes quick work of large areas that don’t need a lot of detail. The needles don’t slip around so their circular arrangement stays true, resulting in less breakage. The needles that came with it broke very quickly but I switched them out and have had no more problems. This the best multiple needle holder I ever used. A medium gauge needle works perfectly. Smaller ones break and large ones take a lot of push. Excellent and well made tool. I would certainly buy it again.

I did use the original needles for a bit but they broke and bent quickly as I expected. I wasn't buying this for the needles though, just the tool, and that works great. I swapped out some German-made needles and it works like a charm. It's easy for my arthritic hands to use.

Works for quick felting. Not for details as much ovbi. It helps to push it straight or some needles will bend and break. Easy to replace but if they break off inside your felted piece you cannot get the broken tip and it could be a hazard later to a kid or pet.

The needles included with the wooden handle are very brittle. My (overly enthusiastic) six year old broke two of the needles while using this over a felt pad the first time she used it.While a gentler technique may have avoided this, I was beyond appreciative that the felt pad gripped the needles for easy location & disposal.A styrofoam base would not have been so kind & felting needles are not something I want to experience stepping on or risking a pet swallows.
