I bought this to use with a large delta kite. The line seems to be durable and would live up to the 100 lbs rating that it is stated. It is twisted and not braided but that was stated so just keep that in mine. The hoop is very easy to use releasing line. Reeling the kite in is easy just takes time. With all of that being said, I would definitely recommend the item at this price I think you get a lot of value for the quality.With that being said, I did have a defect in my line. It was shorter than my other 300'. Also, there was a knot about 70ft in that seems to be there to extend the line. I have bought In the Breeze products before so I gave customer service a call. All I'm gonna say is they made things right and then some. I would highly recommend any of their products, no questions asked.

This was really handy, we bought it as a backup line in case any of the kites we bought came with flimsy/short lines (and they did). We had a blast at the very windy beach. As you can see, we let the kite out the whole way and it did fine. Yes, it took forever to reel it back in, but that's what you get for $6. The clip was sturdy and and fixed in place securely. No complaints here.

Works great for the price. Quality clip makes it easy to connect to kite for quick launch times. Clip is metal and closes similar to the way a safety pin closes, unlike some plastic clips that do not completely close. The round handle design makes letting the string out fun and efficient. Bringing in 300' of string isn't too difficult, though pricier handles may be easier when it's time to bring it in.

I LOVE THESE! I had to come back and order more for our kite-flying! I love how easy it is to attach and detach our kites! I love that you can put your whole arm through the hole or just hold in your hands while the kite undwinds. They are easy to slow down the feed on the string and very easy to wind. We have yet to have tangles in the string! I love the simplicity of this item! My only suggestions--- I wish there were a "spot" where you could hook it when you are done flying so the string does not unravel. That is not a deal-breaker for me, but I don't like the string unwinding in our kite box! A very economical solution to kite reals. You can also buy them in different strengths. I wish they came with longer lengths- but this seems to be a typical length.

I had one of these before but my kite flew away (so sad). So I bought a new kite and one of these hoops. It's smaller than my other one but works just as well. I prefer the larger size for the size of my hand but it does the job. It's probably child size but not too small that I can't get my hands into it.

The materials are high quality. I experienced no binding of twisting. It got a lot of use at the beach recently. I would recommend.

Well this is it , get the kite all set up first pull on the kite and snap the line instantly not very happy.The rating on the line strength on the site is inaccurate. Hope this helps and hope they send me new lines that have a much stronger line strength.
