In The Swim Pool Calcium Hardness Increaser
In the Swim Pool Calcium Hardness Increaser effectively resolves low hardness levels, preventing aggressive water behavior. When levels fall below 200 ppm, water extracts minerals from surfaces, causing etching and corrosion. Add the Increaser to raise levels to the ideal 200 - 400 ppm range. Contains 97% granular calcium chloride. Dosage: 6 lbs. per 10,000 gallons raises levels approx. 50 ppm. Do not premix or mix with small amounts of water, as it undergoes a chemical reaction generating heat.

This is the second time I have ordered. They fill the whole bucket with their products. I use this in my salt water pool and works fantastic. This product does not cause cloudiness in my pool. They often have sales and I can get this at a way better price and more amount then our local pool store. The only draw back is that it is not quick dissolving. I do have to brush it off the bottom of the pool for about a minute and then it will be completed dissolved.

This chemical comes as smaller flakes, fairly easy to scoop, and comes in a solid plastic bucket, further packaged in a fairly form fitting box that shipped well.There was another vendor that shipped the chemical in a plastic bag in a box that was the very best price I could find on Amazon, but this is the next best thing in cost per pound compared to their 25 pound bucket And all the other offering on here.It weighs more than you might think just as a caution for those who need to protect their back. You also need a pride tool to get the lid off. I have a plastic tool with the handle on it that’s built specifically for these kind of buckets and works very well. it’s just a chemical, it appears to do its job well and has adequate purity and concentration for the price and there’s not much else that can be related about it. It raises my total calcium hardness in my pool as expected and per recommended dosages you can find in tables online. I have a 23,000 gallon pool and about 4 pounds of this will raise my hardness level about 50 PPM.I give it a do purchase recommendation, and the delivery was in just a few days.

It works great. I stop buying from pool supply store because their prices has become outrageous. I get a better deal on line and don’t have to worry about lifting anything because it’s deliver to me free.

I depend on quality products to protect my families health and comfort when spending hours in my pool. I want to know that we all are soaking up fun times and sunshine and not some sort of unusual chemicals that came from using inferior products. Safe pool supplies equals happy pool people!

My pool was lacking this year in the calcium department and i'm a new pool owner. So i'm slowly getting everything down to a T. This was perfect for my pool. It dissolves quickly and definitely a lot more convient than just packs of it laying around since it's in a container. Calcium has been maintained the entire time so far this year within the parameters without having to add more. Perfect!
