Your cart is empty.This product disperses rapidly to establish a chlorine protection quickly. It stabilizes pool water and extends the life of the disinfectant. Use a reliable test kit to determine the stabilizer concentration in the pool water. Follow the included chart to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm. If the pool is new, just refilled, or has no stabilizer; add 4 oz. of this product per 1000 gallons to give the desired range of 40-100 ppm. Add this product slowly into the skimmer, or if desired, premix in a pail of warm water and then add directly to the skimmer. Be sure the filter is clean. Recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to dissolve completely. Always maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and pH at 7.4-7.6.

This product is just what I was looking for to add conditioner (CYA) to my swimming pool.The one thing I would like to see if they would package it with a screw on top to open and close securely.

Worked great! A bit hard to dissolve but I applied it to the deep end of the pool and it took about an hour of brushing but finally dissolved!Raised the CYA level as it said it would! Will be buying for next years pool season!!

Works as intended. It takes a while to dissolve. I put it in socks inside skimmer and by the water inlet in pool. My pool is 20'X40'. So I had to buy 2 of these to raise the CYA so my Chlorine would stabilize and last.Not a fast solution though. It takes a while to dissolve. I. found the old sock method to be the best way to apply.

Since this is my first full season with my above ground pool, there was a learning curve with balancing the water quality. After the perfect storm of the pump running slow and several record hot days, my water quality plummeted and the water had green algae then went super cloudy. I couldn’t figure out why my free chlorine kept registering zero. Well, after sone research I realized the CY really matters! After adding the set up dose of this product, my CY rose and I am finally registering free chlorine and at the desired level—and my pool is crystal clear and clean again! I am regular dosing now and I will never be without this product in my pool shed!

You need to use a lot of product for a large pool. It takes a long time to dissolve. I’d look for a liquid product next time. Does it’s job just painful getting it into the pool.

Have had this sitting in a bucket of water for 6 weeks and it hasn’t dissolved at all. Kind of works still as I just put the water from the bucket into the pool to raise cya, but would not recommend

Just use chlorine...and run your pump with fresh filter
