For those view that have pools, I would highly recommend this product. The active ingredients are a lot higher than the products that you see and some of the pool and spa stores. Definitely worth the money.

This is my first year with a new plaster concrete 28K gallon pool. I’ve used muriatic acid before this and tried this dry acid.My alkalinity is kept between 70 - 110. I hit 8.2 ph weekly and two treatments of a half gallon of muriatic would last a week.8 dry cups of this dry acid diluted in a 5 gallon bucket was as effective as half a gallon of muriatic acid. I had to do twice as many treatments a week of this than liquid muriatic acid and this $100 bucket lasted about a month. You’ve got to stir this a lot to dilute it.Muriatic acid is $10 a gallon. That’s $40 a month or more than half as much as this.I’m going back to muriatic. It was worth a shot.

Anytime it rains I have to adjust the ph in my pool and feel much better using this product as opposed to muriatic acid which is nasty. The price that the local pool stores charge for smaller quantities is quite expensive. This product is quite economical in contrast.
