Only zips from top down. Does not zip bottom up. That part is disappointing for me as that is a staple of cycling gilets, thus I am rating 3 stars. The full length side and back vents definitely make this better for warmer temps. This is not for cold temps bc there half of the back and sides are full mesh panels. I am 5'9" and 160lbs. The medium fits well, not quite snug, but not loose either.

The vest is really nice. I am 5.4" about 130lbs and got the small. It's not a tight fit which I like. Would like them to make a black one!

Fit great, blocks the wind to keep you warm, but the back is breathable mesh so you don't overheat. Great design and well made.
