My size is usually a medium. I'm 6 foot, 170 pounds, so I'm on the slim side. This medium jacket fit somewhat snug. That's normally what you want for a cycling jacket so that it does not flop around while you're zipping along. There is a little room for an additional layer such as a medium wool sweater. If you are over 180 pounds, you'll want a size larger. For active fitness, such as running, brisk walking, and biking, this is a good shell for winter layers. It blocks the wind very well and has a thin fleece lining. For more stationary activities, like sitting around or walking slowly, you will want more layers to keep warm because there is no insulation other than a thin layer of fleece. This jacket does a great job of blocking the wind and rain. The cuffs have enough elastic to keep the wind out while riding and the sleeves are long enough biking as well. The arms have some reflective bands around them which is great for visibility at night, but there should also be a strip across the back shoulders or somewhere else on the upper back. I got the orange color for visibility, but orange appears as black at night. The hood feels nice and cozy, meaning that it is not oversized and does not flop around in the wind. It fits around your head with enough space for a beanie if needed. It fits well under a bicycle helmet after the helmet has been adjusted to allow for a little more space needed for the hood. There are plenty of pockets for gloves or a cell phone. The back is slightly longer to keep the rain, wind and snow out of your pants or shorts.Overall a very good jacket that could use some improvements with reflective material across the back.

I got the medium. I got the color orange. When I asked my spouse how I looked, she said: "You're very bright. I can see you from a long way off." Yes, that's what I wanted, but there's so much more to like about this lightweight bike jacket. It is completely windproof. Seems to repel water (I haven't been in a driving rain yet, but the fog drips off without soaking in). Love the adjustments for the hood. I can snug it down if I need too. Has plenty of room for me. I'm 5-11 and 155 pounds. Yes, I'm kind of skinny. I like the upper body zip pocket on the front.I like the fleece lining, but I would not count on it to keep me warm. If you're moving fairly quickly, you may only need a long-sleeve thermal underneath.I highly recommend this jacket. Especially in orange for visibility.

It's a nice wind breaker that does provide decent insulation from the wind and weather. I got it in black so the only visible reflective strips are on the arms. But it would be better for visibility for a horizontal strip in the back of the jacket since if I were riding at night, it wouldn't be visible from the back if both my arms are on the handlebar.I like that the sleeves extend to cover a bit of the back of the hand so it helps against the wind. Just needs that little additional visibility marker for riding in the dark. And yes I know bike does already have rear reflectors on bike, but still would be worth to have on jacket to increase that visibility.

I just want to start with the fit, and for the 2XL it is definitely on the small size. I usually get 2XL so that I have some extra space/bagginess, but this thing fits very snug. The jacket itself is nice so far. Definitely windproof, and surprisingly warm for not being that thick. I literally started sweating as I was trying it on the first time. The assortment of pockets is very nice, normal 2 waist pockets plus 2 internal and a chest pocket.Material seems nice, and seems mostly well constructed. One issue I have had is one of the zippers isn't stitched properly all the way down, so if I unzip it all the way I have to fiddle with getting it back on.Overall, It's a solid jacket that will definitely keep you warm.
