I needed to replace my Pearl Izuma but just could not spend $150.Used mostly for pre-dawn, sub-freezing running but also mountain biking 40 - 60F.Little Donkey is heavier than my Pearl Iz shell. It is my first jacket with back vents and I like it. I doubt I ever zip off the sleeves. I am on-road enough that visibility is very important to me. Jacket has small amount of reflectivity but is very bright florescent yellow with hint of lime. I feel visible.Seems well made, zippers are sturdy and smooth. Stitching and seams are tight. Wrist elastic is snug. Zipped to the top the collar is tall and substantial. I'll update the review after a couple of seasons but it is not a throwaway jacket. At 5'-10" and 195 lbs with longer arms the XL fits me well when wearing a couple of tight base layers. Back length covers the belt line (crack).I give it a 4.8 after first month of use.

I purchased both the Little Donkey & Baleaf convertible sleeveless cycling jackets. They are very similar in design, price and features. Baleaf has a broader color selection and is a more established brand with 1,400 reviews vs Little Donkey’s 180. Each is convertible with easy zip sleeve removal.Neither brand in this model is waterproof and both offer GREAT zippered pocket options which was a major plus for me.I purchased in May with chilly mornings and warm afternoons such I wore in a decent temperature range.VERDICT: I’m keeping the Little Donkey and returning the Baleaf based on superior breathability. While the fabrics look similar they are not. As soon as you put the Little Donkey on you can feel the breathability. It is ULTRA-LIGHT on your torso and its ability to cool you is apparent from the git-go. It also provides some heat retention and wind resistance such it works both ways to keep your body temperature good while you exercise or just walk about.Baleaf is different. No disrespect as they are a known brand and I have stuff from them, but as soon as I put their product on I could feel the difference in breathability. Baleaf feels heavier without an air exchange. Each product offers detachable sleeves, but the Little Donkey is so light and breathable you may not need to remove them to stay cool. For reference I live in Rhode Island USA and ride roughly 50 minutes per 5 days a week.

A high quality jacket made from materials and construction of jackets costing far more. If it had one of those expensive brand logos on it I would not bat an eye. Nothing cheap about it at all.I bought it for a morning cycling jacket, wear it until it warms up then remove the sleeves or the whole jacket and pack it away in my jersey pocket.I bought a medium. I'm about 5'10"+, 155lbs, fit, not much of a belly or spare tire at all. Broad shouldered but not a weight lifter. It is loose on me, for a cycling jacket. Arm length is perfect, elastic at the cuffs is great and just right, but the neck opening when fully zipped is loose. The body of the jacket is loose and there is no elastic at the bottom to keep it snug. For a performance cycling jacket I want a snugger fit than this. Also, it's pretty heavy for my needs. 390 grams, or just under 14oz. You'd struggle to compress it down and stuff it into your cycling jersey pocket. It has nice reflective accents and a reflective patch across the center of the back. Zippers are high quality as is the construction. Material is soft and stretchy in all directions, with a fine nylon, matte finish. As a golf or hiking jacket, it'd be perfect. Great for jogging as well if the weight is not that concerning. Cycle touring or mountain biking as opposed to performance road race type riding. As a cycling jacket, I'm very much on the fence regarding keep vs return. I'm looking for a very light, compressible nylon windbreaker that I can easily stuff in my pocket, rear vents to allow the steam out for those 50-something and occasional 40-something early morning starts, without paying name brand cycling clothing pricing (e.g., Rapha, Le Col etc). Other than the great price, this ain't it. But, it's otherwise such a nice and good looking jacket that I may want to keep it.

I'm 5'7", 164 LBS, with a muscular chest, and I found the medium to be a perfect fit. The arms are the right length, and the jacket reaches just past my belt line. Taller people might find this a little short. My first run was 46 degrees Fahrenheit with one layer and I was plenty warm. The venting is something I have difficult finding, and considering the price of some of the major brands, I'm satisfied with this jacket.

I was looking at another jacket and this option was listed to look at. Overall, well made and it will keep it for cool weather walking. I really was looking for a light rain jacket to walk in. This is definitely not waterproof. It is windproof and looks nice, with decent reflective elements. The sleeves are a little baggy, but again, well made.

It’s been really cold and windy in the Midwest. This windbreaker has been excellent over my regular jacket. Yes I sweated with the thick layering but didn’t care. I was warm in the Brrrr wind and freezing cold. Sleeves and jacket keep out the wind. As a woman wearing a men’s jacket I went one size up for extra room up top and to allow a little extra room as an outside layer. It is stretchy, soft and love the pockets. I can start off with gloves and put in back pocket after warming up. Hood is a little big but I’m ok with that. Used yesterday just over a long sleeve shirt for my run and stayed warm but not sweaty. Side pockets are great for phone and whatever else is needed. Also love the bright HiVis Yellow!!!

This jacket/vest is just what I was looking for. The guidelines for size and fit are bang on! It's comfortable and most important when cycling, the colour I picked is great as other cyclists and vehicles can easily see me. A great buy! I would recommend it to any cyclist or walker who wants quality, comfort, and be seen whilst out and about.

Es buena para el frío. Protege bien del viento y la tela se siente de buena calidad. Solo que hay que considerar que no es pegadita como la ropa de ciclismo, entonces busca una talla que te acomode como si fuera ropa normal.
