Great quality and an excellent value. Had to get creative on the wire routing. Bundle would have been too big, opted to route each at 90 degrees thru the roof and new shrinkwrap. Homemade rollbar over the top for the inevitable roll overs crawling

We got this for our RC crawler Traxxis TRX-4 car as a fun addition. Actually, my husband who has suddenly found his childhood again bought this for his RC car. It was supposed to be for our *ahem* son, but my husband has found more joy in building his RC cars than our son :)This was easy to install and looks pretty neat. He didn't put the lights on the roof rack but lights are included in this package, so it's more of a personal choice.So, if you want to make your RC truck/SUV look more authentic to real cars, then this roof rack would be a fun attachment.The only downfall was that parts of the roof rack got rusted. The RC car was driven at the beach on sandy rocks and I'm sure the salt water did some damage that regular driving wouldn't do.

I'm all for saving a few dollars, but this one is a little rough around the edges.First, the package arrived wrapped in bubble wrap and very well protected. Unfortunately my basket was slightly warped, which may have been in manufacturing. I was able to straighten it out a little so it's not terribly noticeable.Next, the order in which the parts are assembled is critical! You add the LEDs to the light buckets, mount the light buckets to the rack, then mount the rack and drill a hole for the LED harness. The LEDs fit well enough in the light buckets, perhaps a thin layer of silicone sealant is needed if you expect to be getting wet.Mounting the lights on the rack was a pain, either the hardware is too small or the holes in the light buckets were too large. Either way they aren't super secure. Add in the fact that the "tails" on the LEDs are so long that it's tough to get the cable management is also a bit of a pain, and I had to drill a massive hole in my body to allow for the super thicc harness to be as hidden as possible.Another issue, I ordered the white "Hella" style covers, and I received the black stone guards. No big deal, but disappointing nonetheless.The basket itself is securely mounted on my body and it does look nice, but it did take longer than I would have liked. It is also a bit heavy by itself, so keep that in mind if you have a tendency to take more extreme lines and angles.The basket looks nice and works well, and for $20 I can't really complain a whole lot, but there are some rough edges here. If you can manage to tinker a bit and figure things out as you go, it's not a bad deal.

Bright, tough, easy to install. Added a whole new look, fit the Redcat Gen 8 perfect. Lights are nice and bright! The roof rack is made of metal and honestly for the price I was really impressed. A couple people saying they are "weak" but its $20 and I liked it.

It seems to be great quality. It’s not too heavy. I did add a little brass down low to help offset it. It looks excellent and the included lights work well. . I would purchase another when the need arises.
